Stephen DeAngelis continues his ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys, Understudies and Alternates with his next edition of AT THIS PERFORMANCE… to be held on Monday, February 19th at The Green Room 42, Green Fig, Fourth Floor, Yotel NYC, 570 Tenth Avenue (at 42nd Street), New York, NY 10036 at 7 PM. Hosted by series Producing Artistic Director and Casting Director Stephen DeAngelis, the popular series allows performers to showcase their versatility and share anecdotes about their experiences. Performers scheduled for February 19th are Stefanie Brown (Cruel Intentions), Billy Bustamante (Miss Saigon), Pomme Koch (The Band's Visit), Blaine Krauss (Kinky Boots), Amy Hillner Larsen (The Marvelous Wonderettes), Stephanie Jae Park (The King and I), Nick Sacks (Dear Evan Hansen), Travis J. Shuler (Cruel Intentions) and Matt Wood (SpongeBob SquarePants). Musical Director/Accompanist for the evening will be Eugene Gwozdz.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series is thrilled to welcome Fred Ebb Award-winning songwriters Michael Kooman and Christopher Dimond for Kooman & Dimond: The Crowd Goes Mild Monday, February 12th at 7:00 on Birdland's historic stage.

Tony Award nominees Kerry Butler (Disaster!, Xanadu, the upcoming Mean Girls), Charl Brown (Motown), John Ellison Conlee (The Full Monty, Murder Ballad), and Stephanie D'Abruzzo (Avenue Q, I Love You Because) will head a special reading presentation of the new musical Seeing Red, by Emmy Award winner Joey Mazzarino and award-winning composer Aron Accurso on Thursday, January 25 in New York City at 11am and 3pm. Seeing Red takes a look at immigration through a fairy tale lens. In fact, it's about all the things that divide us as humans Religion, borders, race. It's the story of Little Red Riding Hood, now a grown woman who still spends her days delivering baskets full of goodies through her company Red Ex. She wishes she could change her fate but in Everafteropolis, once your story is written, it's written. When Red meets the Man From Nantucket, her life is suddenly turned upside down. He convinces her to smuggle Limerick characters (nameless people from faraway places) over Humpty Dumpty's wall and into her Fairy Tale Utopia. But human trafficking ain't easy and she's going to have to face off against the Big Bad Wolf, the citizens of Everafteropolis and the Great God Grimm himself to save the day. Seeing Red takes all of the tropes of children's theater and spins them on their head to tell a very grown-up story. It's got romance! It's got murder! It's got hand-puppets! Butler, Brown, Conlee, and D'Abruzzo will be joined by Jennifer Barnhart (Sesame Street, Avenue Q), Haven Burton (Violet, Kinky Boots, Shrek), Tyler Bunch (The Muppets, Julie's Greenroom, Bear in the Big Blue House), Paul Castree (Disaster!, 9 to 5, Young Frankenstein), Katie McCreary, Deont L. Warren (Aladdin), and Jacob ben Widmar (The Book of Mormon, White Christmas). Paul Staroba (War Paint, Gentleman's Guide ) serves as Musical Director along with C. Renee Alexander as the Stage Manager and Dailey-Monda Management as the General Manager. JOEY MAZZARINO is currently writing on the new Showtime project Kidding which stars Jim Carrey. Mazzarino has over 20 Emmy Awards in multiple categories for his work on Sesame Street (Outstanding Performer in a Children's Series, Outstanding Writing, Outstanding Direction and Outstanding Original Song - Power of Yet). He directed all 13 episodes of Julie Andrews Netflix series Julie's Greenroom where he also served as a writer and producer. FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Alice Ripley, Emily Skinner, Josh Young, Emily Padgett, Nick Adams, The Skivvies and many more in a concert of Elegies For Angels, Punks And Raging Queens on Thursday, January 18 at 7:00 and 9:30. With book and lyrics by Bill Russell, who will also host and music by Janet Hood, who will serve as Musical Director, Elegies ... was inspired by personal stories of those affected by HIV/AIDS and has been performed around the world. The score features such songs as My Brother Lived in San Francisco, And the Rain Keeps Falling Down and Learning To Let Go.

Broadway star, Lauren Elder (SIDE SHOW, HAIR) released her debut album of original music on Wednesday, January 25th and celebrated with a concert to a packed house at The Slipper Room in NYC.

Four of the brilliant stars who lit up the Broadway stage as 'Lola' in the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, Kinky Boots - Billy Porter, Wayne Brady, Alan Mingo, Jr. and Todrick Hall - will all be appearing at a special one-night-only concert fundraiser in support of Theatre Development Fund's (TDF) education and access programs as TDF HONORS Kinky Boots on Monday, March 20 at 8pm at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street, NYC).

Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig announced today that Bring It On star Taylor Louderman will return to Broadway this winter, joining the Broadway company of Kinky Boots as 'Lauren' in the Tony Award-winning musical, beginning January 16, 2016.  

Just last night, Todrick Hall officially joined the Broadway company of Kinky Boots as 'Lola' in the Tony Award-winning musical, where he remains through March 5, 2017. Hall, an internationally known YouTube personality and Broadway actor who just finished a sold-out national tour of his show Straight Outta Oz, succeeds the Award-winning Alan Mingo, Jr. in Kinky Boots, now in its 4th smash year at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street).

As previously announced, Todrick Hall joins the Broadway company of Kinky Boots as 'Lola' in the Tony Award-winning musical, beginning tonight, November 1, 2016, for a run through March 5, 2017.
