Fengar Gael's The Island of No Tomorrows, an erotic, quixotic musical fantasy directed by Lorca Peress runs at Interart Theatre from November 2nd through 18th. The play, a co-production between Interart Theatre Development Series and MultiStages New Works Contests, is part of the League of Professional Theatre Women's "30 Plays Celebrate 30 Years Series". According to Steve Julian, The Colony Theatre in Burbank, Calif., has just announced an emergency 'Save the Colony' campaign in order to remain open. Founded in 1975, the theatre has been producing shows for 37 years. The Colony must raise $49,000 in less than two weeks, plus $500,000, including pledges, by the end of the year to stay afloat.

This September, Maryland's largest regional theater CENTERSTAGE will premiere MY AMERICA, a first-of-its kind project that features a thought-provoking collection of 50 original monologues written and performed by some of the nation's leading playwrights and stage actors.

CENTERSTAGE announces its electrifying, one-of-a-kind artistic initiative, My America-50 new monologues by 50 of America's leading and emerging playwrights, all filmed by award-winning filmmaker Hal Hartley.
