The impressive screen actor Bill Sage, who made his debut in the films of Hal Hartley, is starring in the acclaimed new horror thriller, We Are What We Are. On this occasion, Museum of the Moving Image presents Bill Sage: Then and Now, two special screenings on consecutive evenings, each followed by conversations with Sage and filmmakers:Simple Men (1992) with director Hal Hartley, co-star Robert Burke, and Sage in person on Monday, September 23, at 7:00 p.m. and a preview screening of We Are What We Are (2013) with director Jim Mickle and Sage in person on Tuesday, September 24, at 7:00 p.m. See below for descriptions and ticket information.

BIG FISH Announces Student Rush Policy

Directed by five-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman, with music and lyrics by Grammy and Tony Award nominee Andrew Lippa, and a book by Grammy and BAFTA Award nominee John August, BIG FISH begins performances on Broadway tonight, Thursday, September 5, 2013 and will open Sunday, October 6, 2013 at the Neil Simon Theatre (250 West 52nd Street). A limited number of student rush tickets will be available when the box office opens (10am Monday through Saturday) for that day's performance(s). Tickets are $27 (inclusive of a $2 facility fee) and are only available in person at the Neil Simon box office. You must present a valid student ID. Limit two tickets per person.

One of the most talked about hits of the summer, New Line Cinema's 'We're the Millers' has surpassed $100 million at the domestic box office, it was announced today by Dan Fellman, President, Domestic Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures. The movie crossed the $100 million mark on Friday, August 30, and is still climbing.

The Broadway Experience returned for a sixth summer program at Manhattan Movement & Arts Center from July 29th - August 11th. With 22 professional educators from the Broadway community, TBE offered over 60 classes, workshops, lectures, and a performance based second week. TBE also launched a new Pre-Professional level for college age students and invited Sierra Boggess as guest speaker. In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, the Amon Carter Museum of American Art will exhibit the artworks installed in the president's suite at the Hotel Texas during his visit to Fort Worth in 1963. On view from October 12, 2013, through January 12, 2014, Hotel Texas: An Art Exhibition for the President and Mrs. John F. Kennedy is presented in association with the Dallas Museum of Art, which organized the exhibition.

Titanic Violin on Display at the Titanic Museum in Branson, Missouri

When looking for things to do in Branson, the Titanic Museum offers a sensational, immersive experience into one of history's most prolific events. From August 1st - August 15th, guests will have the exclusive opportunity to view the long-lost Titanic violin of musician Wallace Hartley. The violin was played by the illustrious musician as the ship made its decent into the abyss on that fateful day in April of 1912. This historic instrument will make its last public appearance in the United States at Branson, Missouri's Titanic Museum before being shipped off to England where it will be sold at auction to the highest bidder.

The official announcement was made Monday night at a garden party at The Courtyard at the Hartley House, with a wine tasting sponsored by a cellar full of noise, included appearances by Mike Daisey, Colman Domingo and BD Wong, and special guests including Tom Hewitt and Nilaja Sun. Award-winning solo performer Ben Rimalower presented Eva Price with the Pioneer Award, recognizing individuals and companies who have forged the way for solo theatre. The third annual All For One Theatre Festival will play a limited engagement at Cherry Lane Studio Theater (38 Commerce Street, NY). Performances begin Friday, Oct 11 and continue through Saturday, Nov 9.
