American Stage Theatre Company is excited to announce an added performance for August Wilson's 2 TRAINS RUNNING. Due to many shows selling out, American Stage has added one last performance on Sunday, February 23 at 8 pm. This production is their seventh installment of their August Wilson Century Cycle.

Broadway Records will release the original Broadway cast recording of the new musical BIG FISH digitally today, February 7, 2014 and everywhere music is sold on Tuesday, February 11, 2014. According to author Linda Randall Porter, puppies have an active imagination, like children; their games help them learn; they deserve a reward, and have cute little antics, very much like the young ones. Inspired by her fascination of dogs and her excitement of having a grandson, Porter authors and illustrates a story of a valiant dog in her book 'Ryan the Redbone'.

This month, Touch Theory Dance Company will be hosting an evening of work entitled 'Pandemonium,' a contact ballet at the Hartley House Theater in New York City. The Hartley House is an 18th Century Victorian mansion with an indoor theater located near Times Square.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater's Artistic Director David Van Asselt and Managing Director Brian Long have announced that Ken Urban's The Correspondent, directed by Stephen Brackett will begin previews tonight, January 29, 2014, at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, 224 Waverly Place, west of Seventh Avenue South, between West 11th and Perry Streets. The official opening night is set for Thursday, February 13, 2014. The Correspondent is scheduled to run through Sunday, March 16.

It happened in April 1947 on a legendary train called 'The Capitol Limited,' as two men bunked down for the night for the trip back to Washington. The men were John F. Kennedy and Richard M. Nixon, fresh from a debate in McKeesport, Pennsylvania earlier that day, but more than a decade away from facing off in their race for the White House. As the train rocked gently and the darkness rushed by outside the windows, two future Presidents had a conversation that would last hours, spanning history, the onset of the Cold War, and their very personal and political dreams for themselves and the world.
