Everyone's heard of at least one ghost story in his or her lifetime. Well, try living it everyday of your life. That's what Cloud Beaudry had to do. Hearing voices of dead victims and seeing the painted images of unrepentant killers in the shadows are but a few of his symptoms. Despite his awareness of paranormal activity, Cloud appeared to be a promising young law graduate with hopes of becoming a successful defense attorney.

In "The Ghost of Cloud Beaudry" the brooding young Beaudry embraces his ability to communicate with the dead and enlists the help of a spiteful young spirit to solve a number of murders, the first being that of his mother. He isn't out to become a vigilante or right the wrongs. The intuitive young man simply uses his paranormal ability to find evidence normal detectives would never discover. And on occasion...uses manipulation to execute his own brand of justice.

Though not well-known through the mainstream, Rock Kitaro is a concealed talent whose reach is steadily growing through readers and hipsters alike. After only launching his website "Stage in the Sky" over a year ago, he's released a dozen original short stories and pitches, along with several entertaining theories about his own observations on society. He even has a tab for character bios for his stories, going so far as to post photos of celebrities who he thinks would be perfect for the role. For the part of Cloud Beaudry, Kitaro seems to think Justin Hartley of "Smallville" fame would best bring out the role.

Kitaro's story-telling ability is anything but conventional. Graduating with a film degree, he's spent the last four years working for a law firm that specializes in criminal defense. Since then, he's been writing up a storm while resurrecting the Byronic character. As declared on his website, all of Kitaro's main characters "are troubled individuals. They are sophisticated, arrogant, seductive, disrespectful of authority, self-destructive and struggle with a sense of what's right and wrong."

He's only twenty-six, but he sets his mark high, aspiring to emerge as the Lord Byron of our generation. The second episode in the Cloud Beaudry series is expected to be released through Amazon.com on August 19th, so we have a lot to look forward to.
