According to a Tweet by the Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye, Gary Barlow and Tim Firth have found their leading ladies for their new British musical THE GIRLS, based on the true story and the award-winning play by Tim Firth, Calendar Girls.

Alexandra Dowling, Charlotte Powell, Roberta Taylor and Harriet Thorpe will be starring in London's first professional production of St John Hankin's The Last of the De Mullins for over a century. Directed by Joshua Stamp-Simon, the production will open at Jermyn Street Theatre on Thursday 5 February for a limited season, previewing from 3 February and ending on 28 February.

Auburn Jam Records is pleased to announce the release of 'The West End Goes MAD For Christmas'; a compilation album of Christmas songs by new writers, performed by a host of West End stars. The album will be officially released on November 30th to coincide with MAD Trust's annual fundraiser, 'A West End Christmas', at St Paul's (The Actor's Church), Covent Garden. CDs, priced at £10, are available to pre-order now via both the MAD Trust and Auburn Jam Music websites.

WICKED, the long-running hit West End musical that tells the incredible untold story of the Witches of Oz, welcomes international Wicked star Willemijn Verkaik (Elphaba), Savannah Stevenson (Glinda), Jeremy Taylor (Fiyero); Sue Kelvin (Madame Morrible) and Olivier award-winning actor Paul Clarkson (Doctor Dillamond) to the new London cast at the Apollo Victoria Theatre, beginning today, Monday 18 November 2013. Sam Kelly returns to play The Wizard, a role he previously played in 2009/2010. Katie Rowley Jones (Nessarose) and Sam Lupton (Boq) continue in their current starring roles. Emma Hatton is the Standby Elphaba and current ensemble cast member Sophie Linder-Lee is now the Standby Glinda.
