Tony and Emmy Award winner Tyne Daly, Tony Award winner Harriet Harris, Sierra Boggess and Lisa Howard head an outstanding cast in It Shoulda Been You, the hilarious and heartwarming new musical comedy that proves when it comes to wedding day insanity, everything is relative. It Shoulda Been You, which had a sold-out premiere at New Jersey's George Street Playhouse, will officially open on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.

Rising Alternative today announced that San Francisco Opera's critically acclaimed production of SHOW BOAT will be screened in movie theatres across the country this summer. San Francisco Opera's production of the Broadway classic, which features music by Jerome Kern and book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, opened in June of 2014, and is directed by theater and opera director Francesca Zambello.

The Guthrie Theater today announced that its outgoing Director Joe Dowling, the longest tenured artistic director in Guthrie history, will appear for an In Conversation moderated by New York Post theater columnist Michael Riedel on Tuesday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m. on the Wurtele Thrust Stage.

On April 27 (7PM), Broadway stars Patti LuPone and Bobby Cannavale will head the cast of The Rose Tattoo, one of Tennessee Williams' greatest plays. Directed by Doug Hughes, the special event, which will take place at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre, will benefit The Acting Company.
