The producers of HAIR announced today that, as of today, a new block of tickets has gone on sale for performances through April 5, 2010.

The title of this YouTube video simply says, 'Three year-old 'Hair' tribe member.' And that is all it needs to tell you, as this video is pure joy.

In celebration of the Tony-winning revival of Hair's cast recording release, company members performed numbers from the show at Barnes & Noble. The creators also discussed the groundbreaking musical and production. The event took place at 5pm on Thursday, August 20 at the Barnes & Noble Lincoln Triangle (1972 Broadway at 66th St), 3rd Floor. WhatsOnStage.com is reporting that the hit Broadway revival of HAIR is eyeing a West End transfer. The site indicates the show is hoping for a run at either the Piccadilly or Cambridge Theatre.

HAIR stars Gavin Creel and Will Swenson, both 2009 Tony Award nominees, were honored with a Tony's DiNapoli 'Broadway Wall of Fame' portrait on Thursday, August 6th, 2009 at the Times Square restaurant (147 West 43rd Street at Broadway).

The complete cast, all-star band and crew of HAIR gave a performance from the Tony Award-winning musical live on ABC's 'The View' on Wednesday, August 5th. The performance was the largest Broadway cast appearance in the history of 'The View,' and took place during season finale week before the show breaks for its summer hiatus.

On Monday 1/19 MGC Productions hosted a star studded event, Broadway Speaks Out: Live at The Duplex. Broadway Speaks Out is an online talk show that features Broadway performers speaking out about how their careers have influenced the LGBT community. The evening featured Anthony Hollock and Allison Guinn (Hair), Brian Charles Rooney (The Three Penny Opera), Hannah Shankman (RENT Tour), Rob DiCaterino, Michael Burbach, Elliot Roth (Our Sinatra) and Jenn Lederer, Both of whom are in the upcoming production of Midwtwenties:The Show. The concert also had a special guest appearance by internationally known drag performer, Sherry Vine. Martin Gould Cummings, the artistic director and founder of MGC Productions hosted the evening. MGC Productions is a fiscally sponsored theatre company founded by Martin Gould Cummings and his partner Anthony Hollock. Their goal is to bring the LGBT cause to the forefront through theatre, media, and music.
