Following multiple sold out engagements, Charlie Rosen's Broadway Big Band will return to the intimate Manhattan venue 54 Below on Thursday, February 5th to kick off an official residence for 2015. Tony Award nominee Jeremy Jordan (Newsies, Bonnie & Clyde) and Ciara Rene?e (Pippin, Big Fish) will make their Broadway Big Band debuts, joing a starry list of performers.

Musical Theatre Factory (MTF) will present the Holiday edition of their monthly Factory Salon, an informal new works open mic night, on Thursday, December 18th, from 8pm to Midnight.

A wide array of the finest musical theatre talent will join acclaimed composer-lyricist Daniel Mate for three goodbye concerts at Don't Tell Mama this week, as he bids New York a fond farewell before relocating to the West Coast after ten years in NYC. What I found so utterly engaging about the world premiere of Steve Martin and Edie Brickell's new musical BRIGHT STAR is its complete unpretentiousness. Certainly its musical style --American bluegrass with a heaping helping of laid back mountain charm -- has the kind of lilting homespun ease that makes you feel like you're listening to the neighborhood jug band on mama's back porch, and there's something oddly comforting about that.

Cabaret at The Merc in association with Temecula Presents have announced a one-night-only Broadway concert by Academy Award-winning composer, Stephen Schwartz. On Monday, September 22nd at 7:30pm, Stephen Schwartz, the songwriter behind such Broadway hits as Wicked, Godspell and Pippin, will take the Old Town Temecula Theater Stage for the first time, joined by an all-star cast of Broadway performers!
