Starting The Crazy Coqs' very exciting September schedule is the highly acclaimed Barb Jungr, who returns after a sell out week earlier this year with her new show HERE COMES THE NIGHT (September 3 - 7), followed by one of the country's leading musical stars Dave Willetts, in his show AN EVENING WITH DAVE WILLETTS (September 10 - 12). Making their debut at Crazy Coqs are the unmissable, unique piano duo Worbey and Farrell (September 13 & 14). The wonderfully talented theatre, TV and film actress Celia Imrie performs her debut cabaret show LAUGHING MATTERS (September 17 - 21) and also returning are Kit & McConnel with their new show SECOND MARRIAGE (September 24 - 28).

Tomorrow marks an exciting landmark for Million Dollar Quartet. The Chicago production is celebrating 2,000 performances. To mark the occasion, original MDQ cast member (now on the National Tour) Kelly Lamont will join the company for a 'Sitting in with the Band' appearance during the encore. The company will celebrate with a specially-designed cake, courtesy of The French Pastry School.

Pop singer, songwriter and musician TODD CAREY has signed an exclusive record deal with Blaster Records, which will release the Chicago-born, New York-based artist's as-yet-untitled full-length album on September 17. The album's first single, “Nintendo,” an infectious nostalgic pop gem that recalls carefree days and young love, will be digitally available on August 20.

Producing Artistic Director Gwendolyn Whiteside and American Blues Theater, Chicago's second oldest Equity ensemble, are proud to announce the first production in American Blues Theater's "Legends and Legacies" season, Hank Williams: Lost Highway, by Randal Myler and Mark Harelik, directed by Damon Kiely, music director Malcolm Ruhl and starring Matt Brumlow as "Hank Williams," August 30 - October 6, at the Greenhouse Theater Center's Downstage Mainstage Theater, 2257 N. Lincoln Ave. Tickets are $19 for previews, $29 Thursdays and Fridays and $39 Saturdays and Sundays and $49 for opening night. Barb Jungr made a very welcome return to the Adelaide Cabaret Festival, her last visit having been in 2006, when she presented her unique interpretations of the songs of Bob Dillon. Together with her musical director, accompanist, and co-writer, Simon Wallace, her performance consisted of a combination of interpretations of songs by several other famous singers, and a number of her own songs.
