The Lords Of 52nd Street Come to The Eisemann Center, June 30

This summer, the Eisemann Center invites you to experience the legendary music of Billy Joel as performed by his original band members. Featuring Richie Cannata on tenor saxophone, Liberty DeVito on drums and Russell Javors on rhythm guitar, The Lords of 52nd Street recorded and performed with the “Piano Man” for many years – and now, they're headed to Richardson to play the Eisemann Center on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 8 PM. Hear all your favorite songs, such as “Piano Man,” “Only the Good Die Young,” “Movin' Out,” and many more!  

SW!NG OUT to be Presented in Week 3 of Jacob's Pillow's Festival 2022

In the third week of Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival 2022, audiences in the Ted Shawn Theatre will be treated to live music and the best of the swing dance world in SW!NG OUT. Also in Week 3, JazzAntiqua Dance & Music Ensemble, Prakriti Dance, Bill Shannon, and The New York Korean Performing Arts Center will take to the outdoor Henry J. Leir Stage.

Schmidt Vocal Arts Names Award-Winners of Inaugural High School National Competition

Schmidt Vocal Arts has announced that soprano Nicole DiPasquale (18) has won the top prize of $10,000 in the first national edition of the Schmidt Vocal Competition. Hailing from Tampa, Florida, DiPasquale has just graduated with a Cambridge international diploma from Bell Creek Academy High School. Second prize of $7,500 went to soprano Dalila Lugo (17) of Miami, Florida, and third prize of $5,000 to tenor Benjamin Riverón (17) of San Antonio, Texas.

American Symphony Orchestra Performs U.S. Premiere Of Sergei Taneyev's AT THE READING OF A PSALM at Carnegie Hall

The American Symphony Orchestra completes its 60th anniversary season on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 8 PM. The program, part of the Orchestra’s Vanguard Series and presented in a special collaboration with the Bard Music Festival, is conducted by Music Director Leon Botstein and features the U.S. premiere of Sergei Taneyev’s final work, At the Reading of a Psalm.
