Today, the American Black Film Festival (ABFF) continues its 22-year legacy of providing a platform for diverse storytelling and emerging filmmakers, by announcing the 2018 official selections in all screening categories. The festival returns to Miami Beach, FL from June 13-17. 

Comics Mike Brown (Comedy Outliers) and Ayanna Dookie (She Devil Comedy Festival winner) continue 'King Hippo' their free, weekly Thursday night comedy showcase and afterparty at The Mockingbird (25 Avenue B) in Manhattan's East Village.

Horse Trade Theater Group's popular stand-up comedy burlesque show Stand Up and Take Your Clothes Off! will move to The Kraine Theater (85 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery) beginning Sunday, December 1. The show, which is hosted and produced by burlesque performer Kitten Kent, Girl Detective and stand-up comedian Kerryn Feehan, will be presented every first Sunday of the month at 9pm.
