Eagle Theatre presents THE SHAPE OF THINGS

THE SHAPE OF THINGS, Eagle Theatre's latest production, opens Friday, September 15th. This razor-sharp dramedy premiered in London, England at the Almedia Theatre in May 2001. By 2003, it was adapted into featured film, starring Paul Rudd, and directed by author, Neil LaBute. Sixteen years later, the play makes its way back to the stage, and with the help of smart phones, updated wardrobe, pop-culture references, and a modern day soundtrack, it is every bit as relevant today.

NEXT STOP celebrated the end of its limited engagement at the Broadway Comedy Club with a special performance and party hosted by WeWork Bryant Park (54 W 40th Street) on Monday, June 12, 2017.  The evening, which included cocktails and delectable food inspired by the show from celebrity chef Einat Admony (Taim, Bar Bolonat, Balaboosta), was an opportunity for invited industry guests to learn more about the show and its next steps.

Gardiner (generations, born bad), playwright Melissa James Gibson ([sic], House of Cards) and scenic designer Louisa Thomspon, (Washeteria, Blasted), who have each been at the heart of some of the most memorable productions in the company's 42-year history and whose pioneering work for Soho Rep. has brought critical acclaim, both to the theater and to their own work.

MANCHESTER BY THE SEA's Lucas Hedges to Star in YEN at MCC Theater

MCC Theater announced today that breakout actor Lucas Hedges -- whose performance opposite Casey Affleck in the film festival favorite Manchester by the Sea, written and directed by Kenneth Lonergan, is garnering rave reviews ahead of its November 18 theatrical release -- will lead the cast of the American premiere of YEN, Anna Jordan's Bruntwood Prize-winning play, directed by MCC alum Trip Cullman.
