Peninsula Players' Present Reading Of A TRICK OF THE LIGHT

Peninsula Players Theatre presented a reading of "A Trick of the Light," a new comedy by Peter Moore, on Monday, March 5 to a capacity crowd.  'A Trick of the Light' was produced as part of The Play's the Thing, a winter series of play readings organized by Peninsula Players Theatre.  

Peninsula Players Theatre Awarded WAB Grant

Peninsula Players Theatre is pleased to announce it was awarded a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board (WAB) through their WAB's Creation & Presentation program. Funds of the grant will support the Peninsula Players continued development and presentation of outstanding theatrical productions and community programs as the theater prepares for its 83rd season in 2018.

Peninsula Players Announces Cast Of A TRICK OF THE LIGHT

Peninsula Players Theatre presents a reading of "A Trick of the Light," a new comedy by Peter Moore, Monday, March 5 at 7 p.m., at Bjorklunden, located at 7590 Boynton Lane, Baileys Harbor. "A Trick of the Light" is the second of the three play reading series, The Play's the Thing. The series is funded in part by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin, as well as a generous grant from the Door County Medical Center and Friends of Door County Libraries as well as operating funds from Peninsula Players Theatre.

'Go Save Your Life' was produced as part of The Play's the Thing, a winter series of play readings organized by Peninsula Players Theatre.

Peninsula Players Announces 2018 Play Reading Series

Peninsula Players Theatre announces the 2018 season of The Play's the Thing, a winter play reading series presented to Door County audiences. Fully cast readings of the plays will be performed at Bj rklunden at 7590 Boynton Lane, Baileys Harbor Mondays, February 5, March 5 and April 2 at 7 p.m. General seating is available, no admission fee.

Jeff Awards Honor Peninsula Players Company Members with Nominations

Company members of Peninsula Players Theatre, America's oldest professional resident summer theater, celebrated the announcement of Chicago's 2017 Joseph Jefferson Award nominations with the listing of several current and past company members. The Joseph Jefferson Awards are Chicago theaters' equivalent to Broadway's Antoinette Perry "Tony" Awards. 

LORD ARTHUR SAVILE'S CRIME Opens 8/16 at Peninsula Players Theatre

Lord Arthur, a pillar of Victorian society, is about to marry the lovely Sybil Merton, his childhood sweetheart, and is deliriously happy at the start of Peninsula Players Theatre's forthcoming comedy, "Lord Arthur Savile's Crime," by Constance Cox, based on a story by Oscar Wilde.  Laughter will fill the theater-in-a-garden August 16 through September 3 while Lord Arthur takes the stage with his muddled murder attempts.  

PETER AND THE STARCATCHER Opens 7/5 at Peninsula Players Theatre

???????A magical adventure is in store for audiences at Peninsula Players Theatre when its production of "Peter and the Starcatcher" by Rick Elice ("Jersey Boys," "Addams Family") opens July 5.  Based on the novel by humorist David Barry and suspense novelist Ridley Pearson, "Peter and the Starcatcher" is a grown-up's prequel to Peter Pan featuring swashbuckling pirates, mischievous mermaids, spirited seafarers, a trunk full of magic starstuff and the adventures of a nameless orphan boy and his new friend Molly.  This Tony Award-winning play will light up the theatre-in-a-garden with its stardust and transport audiences to a Neverland they never knew through July 23.

Peninsula Players Theatre Awarded Grant from The Shubert Foundation
