Wigmore Hall Director John Gilhooly has announced the 2024/25 Season. With more than 550 concerts, featuring more than 2,600 musicians, spanning September 2024 to July 2025, Wigmore Hall presents the largest classical music programme in the UK.

Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute enters 2024 with innovative education and social impact programs for all ages.

Soprano Renée Fleming returns for the sixth year to lead SongStudio, an innovative workshop exploring the future of the vocal recital. Public master classes will be led by Ms. Fleming, Angel Blue, Graham Johnson, and Nicholas Phan. Will Liverman joins as creative advisor.

Mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato returns to Carnegie Hall's Resnick Education Wing for her popular series of master classes for young professional opera singers from Sunday, October 22 through Tuesday, October 24, 2023.

Wigmore Hall's 2023/24 season was announced by John Gilhooly, the Hall's Director. With more than 500 concerts from September 2023 to July 2024 featuring some 2500 artists performing music from the past six centuries, it is the largest programme of classical music concerts in the UK. 

Marking the birthday of Franz Schubert (31 January 1797 – 19 November 1828), Wigmore Hall has released a seminal series of four lectures on Schubert songs by their foremost exponent, the pianist, scholar and author Graham Johnson.

One of the newer theatre companies in the Triangle Area is Firebox Theatre Company. It's located in Wake Forest, North Carolina. I had the great pleasure of interviewing both of the founders, Cora Hemphill & Tim Artz, about all of this and more.

Tickets for Wigmore Hall's January – March 2023 concerts go on general sale on Tuesday 1 November, 2022 at 10.00 GMT.

Starting February 5th Memoirs of Blacks in Ballet (MoBBallet.org) will launch four new orbits to its popular The Constellation Project: Mapping the Dark Stars of Ballet: Raven Wilkinson, the First Negro Classic Ballet Company, American Ballet Theatre's Negro Unit and Agne de Mille's The Four Marys, and Janet Collins. 

From January 17–22, 2022, renowned soprano Renée Fleming will mentor 10 aspiring young singers and 10 collaborative pianists from around the world in the fourth year of SongStudio, an innovative program exploring the future of the vocal recital.

Vancouver Opera is proud to welcome two new participants to the 2021-2022 Yulanda M. Faris Young Artists Program. Hillary Tufford and Amanda Testini will join returning artists Ian Cleary, Luka Kawabata, Amy Seulky Lee, and Jonelle Sills.

Artistic Director of Collingwood Summer Music Festival Daniel Vnukowski will host Summer Solstice Series this month. The four-part presentation will include Celebrating Robert Burns with R.H. Thomson and Mr. Vnukowski (June 16, 7 p.m. EDT) and more.

Wigmore Hall will welcome the return of live audiences on 17 May with a 25-concert re-opening festival culminating in a major celebration of the Hall's 120th Anniversary on the 31 May.
