Legendary Broadway director and four time Tony Award Winner George C. Wolfe(Angels In America, The Normal Heart, Bring in 'Da Noise..., Jelly's Last Jam) will receive the SDC Director Award for exemplary collaboration with choreographers on Broadway at the 2019 Chita Rivera Awards 

Legendary performers and Tony® Award winners Ann Reinking (Dancin,' Sweet Charity, Chicago, 'Annie')and Ben Vereen (Pippin, Jesus Christ Superstar, Fosse, Wicked)will host the 2019 Chita Rivera Awards (www.ChitaRiveraAwards.com),taking place at NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts (566 LaGuardia Place, off Washington Square Park) on Sunday, May 19 at 7:30pm. Joe Lanteri, Founder and Executive Director of the New York City Dance Alliance Foundation (www.NYCDAFoundation.net) produces the Chita Rivera Awards in conjunction with Patricia Watt.

Lanteri produces in conjunction with Patricia Watt.

Arthur Miller's All My Sons begins preview performances tonight, April 4, 2019, and opens officially on Monday, April 22, 2019.

On Monday, March 25th The League of Professional Theatre Women (Kelli Lynn Harrison & Catherine Porter, Co-Presidents) presented the 2019 Theatre Women Awards at The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture (18 Bleecker Street, New York, NY 10012).

On Monday, April 8 at their annual Broadway Beacon Awards Gala at The JW Marriot Essex House (160 Central Park South), leading NYC arts education nonprofit Inside Broadway (Executive Director, Michael Presser) will honor Tony Award-winning Broadway icon Chita Rivera and NBC News/The Today Show's Al Roker. Rivera will be receiving the first-ever Lifetime Achievement Award which will be presented to her by celebrated musician Steven Van Zandt of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band.
