Following a return to in-person events in October 2020, the Obie Award-winning Target Margin Theater has announced details for a series of artist residencies with showings as part of a new edition of Magic in Plain Sight.

Following a return to in-person events in October 2020, Target Margin Theater has announced a new edition of Magic in Plain Sight that will take place from May 8–June 19. Magic in Plain Sight is comprised of Now Go and Act Accordingly, and a series of one-week artist residencies with showings at their conclusion.

The Obie Award-winning Target Margin Theater (Founding Artistic Director David Herskovits, Associate Artistic Director Moe Yousuf, Community Producer Victoria Linchong) returns to in-person events with Magic in Plain Sight, a series of free, socially distanced, storefront performances reflecting on loss and wonder that take place in various locations in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.

In response to popular demand, Target Margin Theater (Founding Artistic Director David Herskovits, Associate Artistic Director Moe Yousuf) extends the world premiere of Marjana and the Forty Thieves to April 28. Directed by Founding Artistic Director David Herskovits, Marjana and the Forty Thieves, which opened on April 1, delves into a new section of The One Thousand and One Nights: the tale of Ali Baba.

Directed by Founding Artistic Director David Herskovits, Marjana and the Forty Thieves is scheduled to run at Target Margin Theater's THE DOXSEE (232 52nd Street, Brooklyn) from March 28 through April 20, with an opening night of April 1.

In 'Hedda' a new adaptation by Kelly Lamanna, one performer and one stage manager, armed with puppets, dolls, gizmos, and gadgets will attempt to perform the lamentable tale of Hedda Gabler as first written by Henrik Ibsen. Theater for the New City's Dream Up Festival will present the world premiere of the piece August 31 to September 13.
