A.R.T.'s ALL THE WAY Headed for Broadway?

The Boston Globe reports that American Repertory Theater's ALL THE WAY is heading to the Great White Way. No casting or dates have been announced, but BroadwayWorld will bring you updates as they come in!

Primary Stages continues their 29th season with a new production of their acclaimed 1995 OBIE Award winner, The Model Apartment, by Pulitzer Prize winner Donald Margulies (Shipwrecked!, Time Stands Still, Dinner with Friends, Sight Unseen). Directed by Evan Cabnet (A Kid Like Jake at Lincoln Center Theater, The Performers on Broadway), the production will feature Mark Blum (The Assembled Parties and Gore Vidal's The Best Man on Broadway), Diane Davis (Old Acquaintance on Broadway, Regrets Only at MTC), two-time Obie Award-winner Kathryn Grody (The Marriage of Bette & Boo, Top Girls, A Mom's Life), and Hubert Point-Du Jour (Angels in America and The Brother/Sister Plays Off-Broadway). The Model Apartment runs through November 1 at Primary Stages at 59E59 Theaters. Opening night is Tuesday, October 15 at 7PM. BroadwayWorld as a first look at the cast in action below!

Huntington/Coolidge Collaboration to Continue with NETWORK and THE POWER OF DUFF, 10/14

Stage & Screen, a collaboration between Coolidge Corner Theatre and Huntington Theatre Company that explores the depictions of shared themes in Huntington productions and acclaimed films begins its second season of collaboration on Monday, October 14 at 7pm with Sidney Lumet's Academy Award-winning film Network. The screening will be followed by a conversation with playwright, screenwriter, and film director Stephen Belber and others from the Huntington's production of The Power of Duff.

Tickets Still Available for Betty Buckley's One-Night-Only Show at Signature Center, 9/30

Signature Theatre will present an evening of cocktails and a special one-night-only concert starring one of Broadway's living legends, Betty Buckley, on Monday, September 30 in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 W. 42nd Street) to support the Legacy Program in honor of Horton Foote. Buckley will be singing some of musical theatre's most iconic songs, including songs she's sung in her sold-out national concert appearances. Tickets start at $150 for both the pre-show cocktail reception at 6:30 p.m. and the concert at 7:30 p.m. A limited number of $75 concert only tickets are now available. Signature Theatre Extends Betty Buckley-Led THE OLD FRIENDS Through 10/20

Signature Theatre has announced a third and final one week extension for the World Premiere of Horton Foote's THEOLD FRIENDS, directed by Michael Wilson. The production will now play its final performance on Sunday, October 20. THE OLD FRIENDS opened to critical acclaim on September 12 in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). Tickets during the extension weeks are $75 each.

Richard Topol Stars as Yogi Berra in Primary Stages' BRONX BOMBERS, Beg. Tonight

Primary Stages has announced that Richard Topol (Broadway's The Normal Heart, The Merchant of Venice) will assume the role of Yogi Berra in their World Premiere production of Bronx Bombers, written and directed by Tony Award nominee Eric Simonson (Broadway's Lombardi). Due to artistic differences, Joe Pantoliano, initially announced to play the role of Yogi Berra, will not continue with the production. The production has delayed its first performance to tonight, September 20. Opening night remains scheduled for October 8 at 7pm. Bronx Bombers runs through October 19 at Primary Stages at The Duke on 42nd Street.

Aurora Theatre Company continues its 22nd season with the Bay Area Premiere of Samuel D. Hunter's edgy and earnest A BRIGHT NEW BOISE. Signature Theatre Extends THE OLD FRIENDS Through 10/13

Signature Theatre has announced an additional one-week extension for the World Premiere of Horton Foote's THE OLD FRIENDS, directed by Michael Wilson. The production will now play through Sunday, October 13. THE OLD FRIENDS opened to critical acclaim on September 12 in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). Limited $25 subsidized tickets remain for the production's initial run. Tickets during the extension weeks are $75 each.

Richard Topol to Star as Yogi Berra in Primary Stages' BRONX BOMBERS

SALINGER Hits #6 on NY Times Best Seller List

On January 29, 2010, Deadline Hollywood broke an exclusive story and review of Salinger, a feature-length documentary about reclusive author J. D. Salinger that Salerno directed, produced and financed himself. The documentary was kept secret for five years. The film features interviews with 150 subjects including Philip Seymour Hoffman, Edward Norton, John Cusack, Danny DeVito,John Guare, Martin Sheen, David Milch, Robert Towne, Tom Wolfe, E. L. Doctorow, and Pulitzer Prize winners A. Scott Berg,Elizabeth Frank and Gore Vidal. Michael Fleming, the first journalist in the world to view the film, said Salerno's picture was 'arrestingly powerful and exhaustively researched'. Additionally, Fleming announced that Salerno had co-written a 700-page biography on Salinger with New York Times bestselling author David Shields.

BREAKING BAD's Bryan Cranston Stars in A.R.T.'s ALL THE WAY, Beg. Tonight

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University welcomes three-time Emmy Award-winning actor Bryan Cranston to play the lead role of Lyndon Baines Johnson in Robert Schenkkan's new play All The Way opening the A.R.T.'s 2013-14 Season at the Loeb Drama Center. The production, directed by Bill Rauch, will begin performances tonight, September 13, 2013.
