Rob Burnett, Gordon Edelstein, Neil Barclay & Rosemary Martin Hayduk Set for This Week's STATE OF THE ARTS on WPKN-FM

Film producer ROB BURNETT, Artistic Director GORDON EDELSTEIN, actor NEIL BARCLAY and chorister ROSEMARY MARTIN HAYDUK are scheduled for this week's (Friday, June 10) State of the ARTS on WPKN which airs LIVE every Friday from 12noon to 1pm on WPKN-FM (89.5) in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Co-hosts of the weekly arts & entertainment program are Richard Pheneger and Peggy Nelson.

Jonathan Cake & Marsha Stephanie Blake to Star in The Old Globe's MACBETH; Cast & Creative Team Set

The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team of the first offering in the 2016 Summer Shakespeare Festival: William Shakespeare's thrilling classic Macbeth, directed by Brian Kulick, Artistic Director of Classic Stage Company and a leading Shakespearean expert. The so-called "Scottish Play" will run June 19 - July 24, 2016, in the Lowell Davies Festival Theatre. Previews run June 19 - 24. Opening night is Saturday, June 25 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets start at $29, on sale now to the general public.

Melissa Errico, Will Swenson & Ryan Silverman to Lead Workshop of New Musical TABLE

Tony Award-nominated singer & actress Melissa Errico, who just finished an acclaimed run starring in the Encores! production of Do I Hear a Waltz? ("transformative" & "an exquisite interpretation" - The New York Times) is set to star in a workshop this week of the David Shire & Adam Gopnik (of The New Yorker) musical Table.

Bobby Steggert, Mara Davi & More to Reprise Roles in MY PARIS at Long Wharf Theatre; Kathleen Marshall Directs

Long Wharf Theatre travels back in time to the romance and fun of Montmartre in the late 1800s  in its production of the musical My Paris, a imaginative retelling of the life of the artist Henri Toulouse-Lautrec, directed by Tony Award-winning director Kathleen Marshall, with music from the legendary French performer Charles Aznavour, and a book by Pulitzer Prize-winner Alfred Uhry, and with English lyrics and musical adaptations by Tony-winner Jason Robert Brown (The Last Five Years).

Roundabout Theatre Company presents the first-ever New York revival of Alfred Uhry and Robert Waldman's musical comedy THE ROBBER BRIDEGROOM. The production opened just last night, March 13, at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street).
