The Agency Theater Collective has announced its spring production of the world premiere of Skin For Skin, written by Paul Pasulka and directed by Michael Menendian, February 28  - April 2, at the Rivendell Theatre, 5779 N. Ridge Ave.

Artistic Director Chay Yew and Managing Director Erica Daniels announce a one-week extension to the World Premiere, hit production of A Wonder In My Soul, written by ensemble playwright Marcus Gardley and directed by Chay Yew, with music direction by Jaret Landon. A Wonder In My Soul will now run through March 19, 2017 at Victory Gardens Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue.

From the Broadway stage to the Pulitzer Prize, back to Broadway, and now as a film adaptation with four Oscar nominations, FENCES has riveted audiences for more than 30 years. The film, directed by and starring Denzel Washington, is nominated for Best Picture, with Washington and Viola Davis nominated for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actress. The fourth nomination is for the drama's original playwright August Wilson for Best Adapted Screenplay. Wilson died in 2005. Wilson left behind an indelible legacy of dramatic work, having penned the ambitious American Century Cycle of ten plays focusing on the African-American experience in the 20th century.

Peninsula Players Theatre will present a play reading of Joseph Zettelmaier's "Salvage" on Monday, March 6 at 7 p.m. at Bjorklunden, 7590 Boynton Lane, Baileys Harbor.

Goodman Theatre Artistic Director Robert Falls marks his 30th anniversary season with the Chicago premiere of Pulitzer Prize winner Annie Baker's (The Flick) adaptation of Uncle Vanya. Uncle Vanya opens tonight and appears for a now-extended run through March 19 in the Owen Theatre.
