The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team of Skeleton Crew by Dominique Morisseau. The Globe is the first regional theatre in the country to mount the play, which was presented here as a reading in the 2014 Powers New Voices Festival before an acclaimed Off Broadway run. San Diego director Delicia Turner Sonnenberg makes her Globe debut to helm the award-winning drama, which is presented in association with San Diego's MOXIE Theatre, where Turner Sonnenberg is Founding Artistic Director.

The original Off-Broadway cast recording of "When You Are A Person" has been released and is now available worldwide. The song is from the world premiere of Ken Urban's NIBBLER, presented by The Amoralists in association with Rattlestick Playwrights Theater.

Adventure Stage Chicago (ASC), the participatory arts program of Northwestern Settlement (the Settlement), announces a commissioned play by Lucas Baisch to premiere during its 2017-2018 season, part of the company's drive to formalize its new play creation process and align its mission to Settlement objectives. Vineyard Theatre Artistic Directors Douglas Aibel and Sarah Stern have just announced that original cast members will record the Kid Victory cast recording on Monday, March 20. Broadway Records is set to release the recording in September, produced by Michael Croiter.

The New Colony continues its 2017 Season with the world premiere of Connor McNamara's political thriller SCAPEGOAT; OR (WHY THE DEVIL ALWAYS LOVED US), directed by Kristina Valada-Viars, playing April 13 - May 7, 2017 at The New Colony's resident home, The Den Theatre's Upstairs Main Stage, 1333 N. WaterTower Theatre Artistic Director Joanie Schultz today announced the appointment of David Lozano to direct Native Gardens by Karen Zacarias.  Mr. Lozano, Executive Artistic Director of Dallas' Cara Mia Theatre Co., will be making his directorial debut at WTT with Native Gardens.

???????A Red Orchid Theatre concludes its 2016-2017 Season with the Chicago premiere of 3C, written by David Adjmi and directed by Ensemble Member Shade Murray. The production runs April 20 - June 4, 2017, at A Red Orchid Theatre, 1531 N. Wells. The press opening is Monday, April 24 at 7:00 p.m.

The Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC) presents Macbeth, directed by Tony Award-nominee Liesl Tommy and featuring Jesse J. Perez as Macbeth and Nikkole Salter as Lady Macbeth. The show will run April 25-May 28 at Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW).

Their tactics toward their prospects, and each other, expose the ugly underbelly of a dog-eat-dog business.
