The Cape Playhouse has big plans for little theatre goers this summer, as FunDay FriDays! Playhouse for Kids takes the stage.  From pirate tales to dogs performing hilarious tricks, puppets, magicians and jugglers, the schedule has something for all kids.

The Miramar Cultural Center, 2400 Civic Center Place, Miramar FL, presents the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, DREAMGIRLS, for two concert performances only Saturday, July 22, 2017, at 8:00 PM and Sunday, July 23, 2017, at 2:00 PM.

After playing to full houses and dazzling crowds across Australia, finally Melbourne audiences will get the chance to see A Fine Romance: The Magic of Fred Astaire at Chapel off Chapel from 10 October 2017 for a strictly limited season.

'Crazy For You,' now playing at the Theatre In The Park in Shawnee Mission Park, is the theatrical equivalent of the 'Little Engine That Could.' It represents the fifth generation of musical shows based on George and Ira Gershwin's 1930 'Girl Crazy' score. Even though the original version kicked off the careers of Ethel Merman and Ginger Rogers, none of these shows remotely resembles any of its siblings.

Fresh off of the show's four Tony wins, Hello, Dolly! welcomes two-time Tony Award®-winner and one of Broadway's most treasured stars, Donna Murphy, stepping into the role of Dolly Gallagher Levi for Tuesday evening performances beginning tonight, June 13. (Ms. Murphy will also take over the role during Ms. Midler's vacations.)

Though all of Harvey Granat's midday events are illuminating and entertaining, his most recent SONGS AND STORIES on March 16 at 92Y could've easily continued at least another half hour buoyed by audience enthusiasm. The event's special guests, author/producer/journalist Will Friedwald (who has his own 92Y series), and President of Jimmy Van Heusen's catalog, his great nephew, Brook Babcock, were both knowledgeable, engaging raconteurs. It was also a great pleasure to watch the two men join infectiously enjoying the afternoon.

Cast members from the highly anticipated Broadway revival of HELLO, DOLLY joined women across the nation in support of women's rights today.

The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra presents song-and-dance standards from the golden age of Hollywood musicals in a Valentine's-weekend pops program, February 10-12 in Red Bank, Newark and New Brunswick. Broadway veterans Joan Hess and Kirby Ward join the Orchestra and guest conductor Gemma New, performing classics inspired by Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Gene Kelly and Eleanor Powell.

Directed by four-time Tony Award® winner Jerry Zaks and choreographed by Tony Award winner Warren Carlyle, Hello, Dolly! will begin performances at Broadway's Shubert Theatre (225 West 44th Street) on March 15, 2017, with an official opening night of April 20, 2017.
