Photo Flash: First Look at Ronald Keaton in CHURCHILL at New World Stages

CHURCHILL, a new play adapted and performed by Ronald Keaton, will receive its Off-Broadway premiere at New World Stages, with performances beginning this Friday, February 6th following an acclaimed 2014 sellout world premiere engagement in Chicago. Under the direction of Kurt Johns, this limited engagement of CHURCHILL is based on the life and writings of one of the greatest wartime leaders of the 20th Century. The official opening night is set for Wednesday, February 18th.

Emerson Theatre Collaborative Presents HOUR FARTHER This Weekend

Emerson Theatre Collaborative (ETC), in association with Black Stars of the Great White Way - a Chapman Roberts and Richard Allen Center for Art & Culture, announces its production of the play, Hour Farther written by David Horace Greer, directed by Camilla Ross, and starring renowned stage and screen actor and singer, Kirk Taylor. Most recently, Mr. Taylor had the honor of working alongside the late Robin Williams and Mila Kunis in the film, The Angriest Man In Brooklyn directed by Phillip Alden Robinson.

globalFEST Comes to Lincoln Center Out of Doors, 7/27

globalFEST (globalfest.org), North America's premier springboard organization for world music, hits the great outdoors, thanks to its upcoming collaboration with Lincoln Center Out of Doors (LCOutofDoors.org) on July 27, 2014. Festivities will include a selection of international music-related documentary films, an early afternoon family-oriented program, and a literally underground global bass stage.

Niamh Perry plays the role of Sophie in the MAMMA MIA! International Tour when it plays its exclusive UK Summer Season at the Blackpool Opera House now through 14 September 2014. Niamh previously played the role in the West End in 2009, when the musical celebrated its 10th birthday. Dance Lineup Announced for Lincoln Center Out of Doors 2014, Beg. 7/20

From July 20 through August 10, Lincoln Center Out of Doors will offer more than 100 free performances across the Lincoln Center campus. The 44th season of the popular summer festival features premieres and debuts, family programs and a wide range of music and dance events.

Lincoln Center Announces OUT OF DOORS 2014 Summer Festival Lineup; Runs 7/20-8/10

The schedule for this summer's Lincoln Center Out of Doors festival, which runs from July 20 to August 10, was announced today by Bill Bragin, Lincoln Center's Director of Public Programming. Nearly 100 free performances will take place across the plazas of Lincoln Center during three weeks. A special Memorial Concert for Pete and Toshi Seeger on July 20 will be followed by the official opening concert on July 23 with Larry Harlow's Hommy: A Latin Opera, the landmark work's first performance in 40 years. MAMMA MIA! Extends Summer Run in Blackpool Through 14 Sept

The producers of the MAMMA MIA! International Tour have announced extra dates at the Blackpool Opera House this summer. The exclusive UK Summer Season was originally due to run from 20 June to 31 August, but, due to a huge demand for tickets, the season has now been extended until 14 September 2014. Blackpool will be the only UK venue outside of London to host the worldwide hit musical this year.

Asphalt Orchestra Plays THE PIXIES: SURFER ROSA Tonight

Bang on a Can's radical marching band Asphalt Orchestrareturns to Lincoln Center Out of Doors to give the world premiere of Asphalt Orchestra Plays the Pixies: Surfer Rosa, commissioned by Lincoln Center and honoring the groundbreaking album's 25th anniversary, tonight, July 28, 2013 at 6:30pm at Lincoln Center's Damrosch Park Bandshell. Parade sets by Asphalt Orchestra and Jacob Garchik's The Heavens start at 6 pm on Josie Robertson Plaza and Hearst Plaza. The program also includes performances by the Kronos Quartet with special guests Dan Deacon and Jherek Bischoff, as part of a weeklong celebration, KRONOS at 40, co-curated by Lincoln Center and Kronos Quartet.

Isle of Shoals' THAT LADY FROM MAXIM'S Lands 6 New York Innovative Theatre Award Nominations

In a festive celebration at XL Night Club on Monday, July 23, The New York Innovative Theatre Foundation announced 6 nominations for the Isle of Shoals Production of That Lady from Maxim's, including Outstanding Production of a Musical. Bryan Williams, who contributed book, music and lyrics for the musical-farce, was nominated for both Outstanding Original Music and Original Full-Length Script; Lance Hewett received a nomination for Outstanding Director; two performers from the musical were nominated, Amara Haaksman for Outstanding Actress in a Lead Role and Marissa Rosano for Outstanding Actress in a Featured Role; and the entire cast received a nomination for Outstanding Ensemble (Amanda Baumler, Michael R. Buscemi, Amara Haaksman, Arthur Lundquist, Alex Mace, John Mervini, Tom Morin, Anna Price, Marissa Rosano, Stephen Ryan and Cecilia Vaicels).
