Shakespeare & Company announces its 2018 summer season. Exploring themes of Delight, Deceit, and Desire, the season includes three Shakespeare plays: Macbeth, As You Like It, and Love's Labor's Lost; plus the New England Premiere of Morning After Grace by Carey Crim; Creditors by August Strindberg adapted by David Greig; Heisenberg by Laurence Olivier Award winner Simon Stephens; Mothers and Sons by Tony Award-winning playwright Terrence McNally; and HIR by Pulitzer Prize finalist Taylor Mac.

THE FULL MONTY, a musical with Music and Lyrics by David Yazbek and Book by Terrence McNally, opens on January 26th and is set to run through February 25th at San Diego Musical Theatre. The musical comedy follows six friends recently laid off from their Steel Mill jobs. In need of money to support their families, these 'average joes' decide to turn to a more unassuming way to make some extra cash: stripping.

Based on the novel by Rebecca Serle published by Little, Brown and Company, FAMOUS IN LOVE follows ordinary college student Paige (Bella Thorne), who got her big break after auditioning for the starring role in a Hollywood blockbuster, and her friends and co-stars as they try to navigate the bumpy waters of stardom and fame.

As previously announced, Feinstein's/54 Below will present the rarely heard musical A Pound in Your Pocket as part of its popular Second Act Series on Wednesday, January 24th at 7:00pm. The very first collaboration from acclaimed songwriters Charles Strouse and Lee Adams, best known for Bye Bye Birdie, A Pound In Your Pocket is a delightful, Dickensian story about friendship and redemption. Strouse will be on hand at the one-night-only concert to greet fans and sign copies of his memoir, Put On A Happy Face.

Considering it only has four characters and one setting, Sam Shepherd's True West has a lot going on. It is a show about the creative process, sibling rivalry and an exploration of the idea that the grass isn't always greener on the other side. The show is a character study, it has moments of great intensity, and moments of absurd humor. It is a difficult show to pull off, yet Susquehanna Stage Company hits all the right notes.

The world's favourite musical, The Wizard of Oz, has finally arrived in Sydney and will celebrate with a star-studded premiere at the Capitol Theatre tomorrow night. Producers John Frost and Suzanne Jones are thrilled Sydney audiences will finally experience the 2011 London Palladium production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Wizard of Oz. San Diego Musical Theatre announced today the cast and creative team for its upcoming production of The Full Monty. With a mix of raucous humor and an audacious pop-rock score, this Americanized stage version of the hit 1997 hit film features a book by Terrence McNally (Kiss of the Spiderwoman, Ragtime, Catch Me If You Can) with music and lyrics by David Yazbek (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown). The Full Monty will be directed by Neil Dale (SDMT's Billy Elliot), with Music Direction by Don LeMaster, and choreography by Paul David Bryant (SDMT's Ragtime). The Full Monty runs January 26 - February 25, 2018, at the historic Horton Grand Theatre, with press opening on Saturday, January 27 at 8:00 p.m.

The ACT Arts Centre and The Ridge Film Studios, with the support of the City of Maple Ridge, are thrilled to present the second edition of the Maple Ridge Festival of BC Film.
