NBC World Of Dance Competitors And South Korean Dance Duo, All Ready, Come To Gardner Museum As Choreographers In Residence

In their uniquely-styled fusion of Latin, street, and hip-hop dance, All Ready, a spirited female dance duo from South Korea, has been performing in NBC TV's "World of Dance" competition this season and will return to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in May as Choreographers-in-Residence to create performances inspired by the Museum collection.

Jason Tramm Leads The Taghkanic Chorale As Music Director In Works By Faure And Handel

Noted American conductor Jason Tramm takes the podium as the newly appointed Music Director of the Taghkanic Chorale in works by Gabriel Faure and George Frederik Handel on Tuesday August 7 for the chorale's annual concert event "Summer Sing."  The concert heralds the Westchester county based Taghkanic Chorale's fifty second season, with Gabriel Faure's Requiem and a selection of popular choruses from G.F. Handel's Judas Maccabeus. The concert is designed to engage the audience and invites singers of all ages to sing with the Taghkanic Chorale and meet Maestro Tramm in reception afterwards.  Pianist Laura Ravotti will accompany the performance.

Helga Davis, an accomplished New York City-based performer whose interdisciplinary work includes theater, opera, and fine art, will become the next Visiting Curator for Performing Arts at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum on July 1. Davis will be creating new and exciting programming that furthers the Museum's role as a vibrant arts and cultural center in Boston. Davis succeeds George Steel who is now the Museum's Abrams Curator of Music.
