GEORGIE: MY ADVENTURES WITH GEORGE ROSE Announces Final Weeks Before Tour

Producers Martin Platt and David Elliott with Mary Cossette, Jamie deRoy, Riki Kane Larimer, Richard Winkler, and Mike Blank, have announced the limited engagement of the critically acclaimed New York premiere of Georgie: My Adventures with George Rose, the new play written by and starring Ed Dixon (Sunset Boulevard, Les Miserables) with direction by Eric Schaeffer (Follies, Million Dollar Quartet) will conclude its Off-Broadway run on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at The Loft at The Davenport Theatre (354 West 45th Street, between 8th & 9th Avenues) where performances began January 25, 2017. At closing, Georgie: My Adventures with George Rose will have played 8 preview and 54 regular performances. A national tour is planned for later this summer.

Ed Dixon to Discuss GEORGIE and Sign Memoir at Drama Book Shop

The Drama Book Shop is pleased to welcome actor, author and playwright Ed Dixon for a discussion about his new play GEORGIE: My Adventures with George Rose. The Wednesday, February 22nd event will begin at 5pm. It is free to the public. Following the discussion, Mr. Dixon will sign copies of his memoir, Secrets Of a Life On Stage... And Off.

Earlier this year, producers for The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre, the area's only year-round producing dinner theatre, announced the lineup of shows for its 2017 Season. Kicking off 2017's blockbuster year, will be the hilarious pirate farce, The Pirates of Penzance, opening in January.

Ed Dixon's GEORGIE to Receive Workshop in NYC Next Week

Martin Platt and David Elliott (Perry Street Theatricals) announce a workshop presentation of Georgie: My Adventures with George Rose, directed by Eric Schaeffer and written by and starring Ed Dixon, on April 11, 2016. The presentation will run 90 minutes, with no intermission.
