On Monday, November 24, 2009, The Westchester Broadway Theatre will be hosting the Cab Calloway Lifetime Achievement Awards

On Tuesday, November 24, 2009, The Westchester Broadway Theatre will be hosting the Cab Calloway Lifetime Achievement Awards. Cab Calloway was a resident of Elmsford, N.Y. for approximately 34 years. His career spanned over six decades and was highlighted by his work on stage, film, television and in the recording industry. The Cab Calloway Lifetime Achievement Awards are meant to honor his commitment to excellence in the performing arts as well as his dedication and support for young, rising talent. It is an honor that the award bears his name.

On Monday, May 4, 2009, The Westchester Broadway Theatre will again, be hosting the annual Cab Calloway Lifetime Achievement Awards for 2009. Cab Calloway was a resident of Elmsford, N.Y. for approximately 34 years.

This year's recipient, of the Bob Fitzsimmons Scholarship is Thomas DiCarlucci, a senior at Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains, NY. He has been a member of Stepinac's stage crew since he was a freshman, serving as cue coordinator and stage manager for eight full-length productions. In addition to the drama club productions, Thomas has served as a crewmember for Stepinac's alumni theater productions and almost every performance, event, and fundraiser, which takes place in Stepinac's Major Bowes Theater.

On Monday, May 19th, The Arts community of Westchester County came out to honor their own when the Cab Calloway Lifetime Achievement Awards were presented At Westchester Broadway Theatre.

A Little Night Music, by Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler will be presented by the Armonk Players starting 5/30.

On Monday, May 19, 2008, The Westchester Broadway Theatre will again, be hosting the annual Cab Calloway Lifetime Achievement Awards for 2008.

Westchester Broadway Theatre presents A Christmas Carol now through December 23. This musical adaptation of the Charles Dickens' classic features a book, music and lyrics by George Puello.
