The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles® (BAFTA Los Angeles) will honor BAFTA and Academy Award winner Warren Beatty with the Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film at the 2011 BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards on Wednesday, November 30 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

The Nashville premiere of Michael Murphy's The Conscientious Objector is next up for GroundWorks Theatre, running April 30-May 8 at the Darkhorse Theater. A joint production with Destiny Theatre Experience, the play is directed by Shawn Whitsell.

Warren Beatty will receive the American Film Institute's (AFI) 36th Life Achievement Award in a special ceremony airing on Wednesday, June 25 at 9/8C on USA Network. Barbra Streisand sent in a pre-recorded video message presenting the award to Mr. Beatty. The event will feature tributes from a number of Beatty's friends and colleagues-including Halle Berry, Don Cheadle, Faye Dunaway, Jane Fonda, Dustin Hoffman, Diane Keaton and Barbra Streisand among others. In addition, there will be special tributes from Gene Hackman, Goldie Hawn, Harvey Keitel, George McGovern, Quentin Tarantino and others.
