Geva Theatre Center's 2010/11 Season continues with Broadway and recording star Maureen McGovern in a new production.

On Friday, October 29 at 8:00 p.m., Carnegie Hall presents a dynamic evening of classic American song featuring a duo performance by five-time Grammy Award-nominated singer, pianist, and renowned interpreter of the Great American Songbook Michael Feinstein and award-winning singer, stage, and screen actor Cheyenne Jackson. The performance-entitled The Power of Two after their 2009 album of the same name-will feature the duo performing pop songs, classic standards, and numbers from Broadway shows like Kiss Me Kate, City of Angels, and The King and I. Their work together has been called 'passionate, impeccably harmonized, and groundbreaking' by The New York Times, and 'provocative entertainment' by The New York Observer. Mr. Feinstein and Mr. Jackson are joined by Musical Director and pianist John Oddo and a swinging 17-piece band for this performance in Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage.

Alice Ripley, Tony Award®-winner for her starring role in Next to Normal, and Michael Cerveris, Tony Award®-winner for Assasins and 4-time Tony Award® nominee, join the cast of THE TOWN HALL's Broadway Melody Makers on Friday, October 15th. In celebration of his 80th birthday, acclaimed conductor Nikolaus Harnoncourt decided to make a recording of George Gershwin's opera Porgy and Bess as a gift to himself.

Lorna Luft will appear as a special guest star in 'Broadway Meets Hollywood--In Concert,' the New West Symphony has announced. Luft will appear with conductor Steven Goldstein and the New West Pops, as well as music director and conductor Colin Freeman and vocalists Tobi Foster and Blake Ginther.

The live orchestra, stunning showgirls and five concert grand pianos that make up Lionardo Piano Follies, including a special appearance by Shades of Sinatra vocalist Carmine Mandia, will thrill audiences of all musical tastes at the Suncoast Showroom October 23 and 24, each evening at 7:30 p.m.

Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced The Old Globe's 2011 Summer Season. Adrian Noble will return as the Artistic Director of the Shakespeare Festival and direct Shakespeare's The Tempest and Peter Shaffer's Amadeus. Presented in repertory in the outdoor Lowell Davies Festival Theatre, the Festival will also include Much Ado About Nothing directed by Ron Daniels. The season also features Hershey Felder in Maestro: The Art of Leonard Bernstein in the Old Globe Theatre. Preceding Bernstein is a 10-day limited engagement of Hershey Felder in George Gershwin Alone. The West Coast Premiere of John Morogiello's romantic comedy, Engaging Shaw, in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre will complete the season.
