Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts announced today 34 additions to its 2013 summer schedule at the Filene Center at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts. In a wide-ranging season that features opera, theatre, comedy, dance, symphony,
international and contemporary music, Wolf Trap continues to strengthen its commitment to the presentation of high quality, accessible and affordable arts experiences for the broadest possible audience. Tickets to the newly announced shows go on sale Saturday, March 16 at 10 am, with more performances to be announced later this spring.

Summer in Chicago continues this month with the Grant Park Music Festival, led by Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Carlos Kalmar and the Grammy Award-nominated Grant Park Orchestra, along with Chorus Director Christopher Bell and the Grant Park Chorus in the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Chicago's Millennium Park. The BASCA Fellowship is the highest accolade which a composer can receive, bestowed by composers in the UK. It recognises unique creative talent in music writing together with iconic achievement for and on behalf of composers. BASCA Fellows are exceptional artists and ambassadors for the song-writing and composing profession and BASCA's role within it.

The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will present Planet Earth Live, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the Emmy-Award®-winning series' most spectacular moments on the Amphitheatre's big screens, accompanied live by the Orchestra. This concert takes place as part of the U.S. premiere-tour on Friday, July 16, 2010 at 8:30 p.m.

Richard Eyre's production of The Last Cigarette, adapted by Hugh Whitemore and Simon Gray from Gray's critically acclaimed The Smoking Diaries, is to transfer to the West End having previously opened the 2009 Season at the Chichester Festival Theatre. Starring Felicity Kendal, Nicholas le Prevost and Jasper Britton, who all perform as Simon Gray, The Last Cigarette will run at Trafalgar Studios from 21 April - 1 August, with opening night 28 April 2009. Designs are by Rob Howell with lighting and projection by John Driscoll and music by George Fenton.
