'The Atheist' Opens at Barrow Street Theatre Tonight October 12th

Circle in the Square Theatre (Theodore Mann, Artistic Director and Paul Libin, Managing Director) has joined Culture Project as producer of the upcoming New York production of The Atheist, presented by Culture Project (Allan Buchman, Artistic Director). The dark comedy, written by Ronan Noone, directed by Justin Waldman and starring Campbell Scott as 'Augustine Early,' began performances at Culture Project's temporary new home, Barrow Street Theatre, on Tuesday, October 7th and has an official opening night Sunday, October 12.

Keach and Cox Kick Off National Frost/Nixon Tour TONIGHT in Des Moines, IA

Tonight, September 30th the first performance of the national Frost/Nixon tour will begin in Des Moines, IA The 2007 Tony Award® -nominated new play by Peter Morgan, the award-winning author of The Last King of Scotland and The Queen, will run at the Des Moines Civic Center through October 5th.

'Caesar and Cleopatra' by George Bernard Shaw will be performed Monday, September 22 at 7pm at The Players, located at 16 Gramercy Park South (20th St. east of Park Avenue). The Voysey Inheritance adapted by David Mamet Sept 18

Remy Bumppo Theatre Company presents the Chicago premiere of David Mamet's sleek adaptation of The Voysey Inheritance by Harley Granville-Barker, running Sept. 18 through Nov. 2 in the Upstairs Mainstage of the Greenhouse Theater, 2257 N. Lincoln Ave. Preview performances begin Thursday, Sept. 18 with opening night Sunday, Sept. 21 at 7:00 pm. The Voysey Inheritance is directed by Remy Bumppo Artistic Director James Bohnen, and features Artistic Associate David Darlow and guest artist Raymond Fox.

Aurora Adds Performances of 'Best Man' Through 9/28

Berkeley's acclaimed Aurora Theatre Company announces extension performances of its critically acclaimed production of Gore Vidal's 'The Best Man'. Aurora Theatre Company Artistic Director Tom Ross helms this seminal political nail-biter starring Tim Kniffin, Charles Shaw Robinson, and Charles Dean, and featuring Elizabeth Benedict, Michael Cassidy, Jackson Davis, Deb Fink, Michael Patrick Gaffney, and Emilie Talbot. 'The Best Man' plays now through September 28, with added performances on September 9, 16, and 23 at the Aurora Theatre in Berkeley.
