Mint Theater Company will kick off its Silver Lining Streaming Series today with the on-demand streaming of the HD recording of Days To Come by Lillian Hellman (The Little Foxes, Watch on the Rhine, Toys in the Attic, The Children's Hour), directed by J.R. Sullivan, beginning January 4th and continuing through February 21st. 

Mint Theater Company Artistic Director Jonathan Bank today announced the line-up for Mint’s popular Streaming Series for 2021, featuring HD recordings of past productions: Days To Come by Lillian Hellman, directed by J.R. Sullivan (will begin airing January 4th and continue through February 21st); plus much more!

Oscar-winning writer Aaron Sorkin and Tony-winning director Bartlett Sher, along with cast members from the beloved television series “The West Wing” and the Broadway company of Sorkin's adaptation of To Kill A Mockingbird (directed by Sher), will host Broadway for Biden's election eve phone banking event on Monday, November 2 from 7:00-9:00pm EST.

Just yesterday, a capacity crowd of 18,000 New York City public school students made history, along side the Broadway cast of To Kill a Mockingbird. Aaron Sorkin's new play, directed by Bartlett Sher, and based on Harper Lee's classic novel, became the first-ever Broadway play to perform at The World's Most Famous Arena, New York's Madison Square Garden. With the extraordinary support of James L. Dolan, executive chairman and CEO of The Madison Square Garden Company, this unprecedented, single-performance event was entirely free to students of New York City Department of Education public middle and high schools from all five boroughs.

The complete Broadway cast has been announced for the second year of To Kill a Mockingbird, Aaron Sorkin's new play, directed by Bartlett Sher and based on Harper Lee's classic novel.

Multiple award-winning film and theatre lyricist Tim Rice, in conjunction with the Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival, will present an industry-only NYC development workshop of his new musical, From Here To Eternity.

Perhaps if Clifford Odets' landmark pro-union drama, WAITING FOR LEFTY, hadn't opened the year before, Lillian Hellman's 1936 labor drama, DAYS TO COME, the sophomore Broadway effort of the playwright who made a huge name for herself two years earlier with THE CHILDREN'S HOUR, might have been better received.
