The Theatre School at DePaul University will offer two world premiere productions, in each of the school's new theatres, to conclude the 2013-14 season.

Turtle Bay Music School's 10th Annual Perform-A-Thon will be held Friday, May 16th through Sunday, May 18th. The community music marathon opens on Thursday, May 15th with a Kickoff Concert and Reception, featuring performances by a trio from the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, Mark O'Connor, Jason Robert Brown, and Sujari Britt. The evening honors Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ and the Herbert M. Citrin Foundation for their support. Kickoff Concert tickets are $100 for VIP table seating or give as you are able for concert seating.

The York Theatre Company continues the 2013-2014 season with the world premiere of the new musical revue, Inventing Mary Martin, conceived, written and directed by Stephen Cole, with music supervision and arrangements byDavid Krane. Inventing Mary Martin is co-directed and choreographed by Bob Richard and has music direction byLawrence Goldberg. Performances began April 15, 2014 for a limited engagement that has been extended through Sunday, May 25, 2014 at The York Theatre Company's home at Saint Peter's. New Hampshire Theatre Project's Youth Repertory Company will present Joseph Kesselring's macabre and hilarious comedy, Arsenic & Old Lace, on May 16-25. Directed by Robin Flower, this delightful script has been entertaining audiences since 1939. Arsenic & Old Lace is the zany story of Mortimer Brewster, his brother who thinks he's Teddy Roosevelt, and his adorable two aunts who have a knack for charity work (or murder by another name). With eleven bodies in the cellar and one in the window seat - and a feisty fiancee who is determined to marry him no matter how crazy his family is - Mortimer experiences the worst night of his life. Throw in older brother, Jonathan, currently on the run from the law, his drunk plastic surgeon, Dr. Einstein, and a slew of other madcap characters, and Arsenic & Old Lace is guaranteed to tickle every funny bone.

The Dramatists Guild's Anti-Piracy Committee just hosted their first-ever Anti-Piracy awareness event yesterday, April 21. During the event, established and up-and-coming musical theatre writers paired up to reach out to known sheet music pirates and ask them to take down the links to their sheet music.
