Primary Stages in association with Jamie deRoy and Barry Feirstein, present the New York premiere of Poor Behavior, a new comedy by Theresa Rebeck (Seminar, Mauritius, The Understudy, creator of NBC's 'Smash'). Poor Behavior plays a limited engagement starting July 29- September 7 at Primary Stages at The Duke on 42nd Street - a NEW 42ND STREET project (229 West 42nd Street). Opening night is Sunday, August 17 at 7PM.

Since the inception of The Three Tenors on July 7, 1990 in Rome at the Baths of Caracalla on the eve of the FIFA World Cup Final, Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras and the one and only Luciano Pavarotti; have opened the doors for other great voices, such as the Irish Tenors, The Canadian Tenors and many other talented and renowned performers. Now three of New York's premier voices, Andy Cooney, Daniel Rodriguez and Christopher Macchio have joined together as The New Yorkers to honor the city of New York and our great nation. On Friday July 25, 2014 they brought their debut show to E.W. Allen Park in Farmingdale for The Town Of Oyster Bay's 2014 Music Under The Stars series joined by special guests Comedian Jim Labriola, Soprano Marla Kavanaugh and Ryan Cooney and Shannon Cooney, and BroadwayWorld was on hand from soundcheck to show and brings you the photo coverage below!

The Mirror Repertory Company, along with The Greensboro Arts Alliance and Residency (GAAR), presents Tony-nominee Marla Schaffel (Jane Eyre) in THE MIRACLE WORKER as part of its 2014 summer season in Greensboro, Vermont. GAAR's 2014 summer season will also include a limited engagement of Rodgers + Hammerstein's CAROUSEL.

Olivier Award winner David Bedella will play razor-wielding madman Sweeney Todd and Sarah Ingram his pie-making partner in crime, Mrs Lovett, in an intimate new production of the Tony Award and Olivier Award-winning musical, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

DRG Records just kicked off the release of Gerard Alessandrini's Forbidden Broadway: Comes Out Swinging! (2014 Un-Original Cast Album), produced by Grammy Award winner Hugh Fordin, yesterday at Barnes & Noble (150 East 86 Street). The cast along with writer/creator and director Gerard Alessandrini and longtime Forbidden Broadway illustrator and CD cover artist Ken Fallin, were on hand to sign the CD and for performances. The New York Civil Liberties Union, the New York State affiliate of the ACLU, just welcomed an array of award-winning performers for Broadway Stands Up for Freedom, its annual benefit concert, which was held last night, July 21, at the NYU Skirball Center for Performing Arts (566 LaGuardia Place, NYC). The week-long program immerses campers in an authentic Broadway rehearsal process that culminated in a Family Finale presentation yesterday. Inspired by Broadway's cherished works and steeped in its grand traditions, Camp Broadway is designed to build confidence, inspire creative expression, and instill well-being in both aspiring artists and future audiences.
