Yesterday, December 8, James Barbour brought is 4th Annual Holiday Concert to Sardi's with special guest star Paige Davis. Barbour's concert will play at Sardi's through December 11 celebrating the holiday season and his new CD, BRING ME GIANTS, on the GlobalVision Records Label. With the holiday season right around the corner, Connecticut Public Television (CPTV) hosts one the most highly anticipated live concert performances of the season: The Irish Tenors Reunion: 2011 Holiday Spectacular at the Bushnell's Mortensen Hall in Hartford. Tony Award-nominee Robert Cuccioli (Jekyll & Hyde, Les Misérables) and Helen Hayes Award-winner Natascia Diaz (Broadway's Man of La Mancha, The Capeman, Seussical, Carousel) will headline the November 30th at 7pm performance of JACQUES BREL RETURNS...The Music of Brel, Blau, Shuman and Jouannest. Joining them in the cast will be Jim Stanek (Lestat, Little Women, ...Forum), Rick Hip-Flores (who has performed in the pits of Billy Elliot, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and The Radio City Christmas Spectacular) and Ereni Sevasti (The Bacchae at The Public, Carnival at The Kennedy Center). Rick Hip-Flores will also serve as musical director.

Stars of ELF, which opened on Broadway in November 2010 and concluded its limited run in January 2011, are set to perform numbers from the show at the Upper East Side Barnes & Noble on December 5 to celebrate the release ofthe cast album. Participants will include: Sebastian Arcelus, Beth Leavel, Matthew Gumley, Matthew Schechter, and Amy Spanger.

Nancy Rhodes, Artistic Director of Encompass New Opera Theatre announced today that Grammy Award winner Melissa Manchester will join Lucie Arnaz, Klea Blackhurst, Craig Carnelia, Brian d'Arcy James, Kevin Earley, Lesley Gore, Emma Hunton, Capathia Jenkins, and Karen Ziemba to perform at A Musical Salute gala, honoring the legendary Broadway, television and film composer Marvin Hamlisch on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at 6:00pm at the National Arts Club, 15 Gramercy Park South, in New York City. Craig Carnelia, Sheldon Harnick, Baayork Lee and Donald Pippin will provide recollections of Marvin's work.

On November 17, Macy's Herald Square kicked-off the season with a heavenly evening of holiday magic at the annual Christmas window unveiling on Broadway Boulevard. The event featured an appearance by special guest, Whoopi Goldberg, along with the divine cast members of the hit Broadway musical, Sister Act, including Tony Award nominee, Patina Miller. Santa Claus also made an appearance and led the countdown to flip the switch and unveil the 2011 Christmas Windows, this year titled 'Make-A-Wish.'

Bloomingdales officially kicked off the season with a gala ceremony to unveil their 2011 Holiday windows starring THE MIDTOWN MEN, 4 stars from the Original Broadway Cast of Jersey Boys.
