See the WIND IN THE WILLOWS cast perform at West End Live!

Simon Lipkin's numerous credits include Avenue Q, Rock of Ages, The Lorax and Guys and Dolls. He's currently starring as Rat in a new musical version of The Wind in the Willows, which begins its West End run at the London Palladium on 16 June.

The first images of the cast in costume have today been released for new West End musical THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS, featuring Rufus Hound as the amazing Mr Toad, Simon Lipkin as Ratty, Craig Mather as Mole, Neil McDermott as Chief Weasel, with Denise Welch as Mrs Otter and Gary Wilmot as Badger. Previews begin at the London Palladium on Friday 16 June, with opening night on Thursday 29 June.

Elaine Paige (Queen Rat), Ashley Banjo and Diversity (The Sultan and his Entourage), Gary Wilmott (Sarah the Cook) and Charlie Stemp (Dick Whittington) will join the previously announced Julian Clary (Spirit of the Bells), Paul Zerdin (Idle Jack) and Nigel Havers (Captain Nigel) in the line-up for Qdos Entertainment's London Palladium production of Dick Whittington.

In celebration of Park Theatre's 4th birthday, the theatre held a stunning and star-studded gala evening. Centred around the performance of Madame Rubinstein (starring Miriam Margolyes, Frances Barber and Jonathan Forbes), guests were invited to dress in 1950s clothing to befit the play's period.

Further casting has been announced for the Music & Lyrics Limited and West Yorkshire Playhouse production of the much-loved Sherman Brothers musical CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG. From May 4 until 2 October 2, Carrie Hope Fletcher (Les Miserables, War of the Worlds) will play Truly Scrumptious, and from May 4 until August 21, Shaun Williamson (The Railway Children, EastEnders) will play Lord Scrumptious/Baron Bomburst. Phill Jupitus (The Producers, Hairspray), who currently plays the roles of Lord Scrumptious and Baron Bomburst, returns to the show from August 24.

Film and stage biopics surrounding the life of a celebrity hold particular intrigue for many people. They can be inherently risky due to the validity of the information being portrayed but ultimately, the general public want to gain an otherwise unforeseen insight into that person's life. Here with the legendary Judy Garland as the subject, she certainly provided a story worth telling. Sadly like most other biographies of its kind, End Of The Rainbow is essentially a tragedy which focuses on the final demise of Judy's personal health and relationships during what should have been her comeback in London in 1968.

First images are released today of End of the Rainbow, which opens at the Mercury Theatre, Colchester this Thursday ahead of a 5-month UK Tour. The production features Lisa Maxwell as Judy Garland, Gary Wilmot as Anthony and Sam Attwater as Mickey.

Coventry's Belgrade Theatre has today announced details of casting for five star-studded new shows touring to the venue in Spring 2016 which include a new UK tour of End of the Rainbow starring Loose Women's Lisa Maxwell, the UK stage premiere of Jackie The Musical starring Janet Dibley and a new touring production of the laugh-out-loud comedy, Menopause the Musical starring Irish pop icon Linda Nolan and Eastenders actress Cheryl Fergison.
