Extremely meta-theatrical, self-aware, and imbued with satire, Diamond Head Theatre's (DHT) latest production of the Broadway hit finds itself galvanizing its audience with uproarious laughter due to its talented cast and witty plot and dialogue, in addition to its other praise-worthy features including its choreography, hair and makeup design, costumes, and musical direction.

With 10 Tony nominations including Best Musical, SOMETHING ROTTEN! is a shamelessly silly parody of Broadway musicals - an outrageous spoof of all things Shakespeare. A Hawaii Premier.

Manoa Valley Theatre parties on in its 2016-17 season, with the rock musical, "Rock of Ages," by Chris D'Arienzo from the 2015 Broadway season. It's the tail end of the big, bad 1980s in Hollywood, and the party has been raging hard at one of the Sunset Strips last legendary rock and roll venues. The fairy-tale madness is about to end, though, when developers unveil plans to turn the fabled Strip into just another capitalist strip mall. Can a pack of rock and rollers save the strip-and themselves-before it's too late?  Music of headliner pop bands from the era holds the answer. This is a Hawaii premiere.

But Spamalot is not just for Python fans ... the show is filled with spoofs of many other musicals, including the productions of Andrew Lloyd Webber, 'LES MISERABLES' and 'Fiddler on Roof.' Seen by more than two million people in its initial Broadway run, the show won three Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Check out a first look of the production below!

Diamond Head Theatre announces an extension of 'Spamalot' adding four performances on Friday, August 8 at 8 p.m; Saturday, August 9 at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sunday, August 10 at 4 p.m.
