Red Bull Theater's Rare Revival Of THE DUCHESS OF MALFI Ends 3/28

Red Bull Theater's (Jesse Berger, Artistic Director) acclaimed presentation of John Webster's The Duchess of Malfi, directed by Mr. Berger, will play its final performance Sunday, March 28th, at Theater at St. Clement's (423 West 46th Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues).

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey will hold its renowned annual fundraiser gala and cabaret performance on April 10 at the Hilton Short Hills in Short Hills, New Jersey. In addition to kicking off the 2010 Season, The Shakespeare Theatre gala will celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Artistic Director Bonnie J. Monte who took over the ailing company, then known as The New Jersey Shakespeare Festival, in 1990.

Artistic Director David Saint announced today the selections for George Street Playhouse's 2009-2010 season. In this economic downturn, when many arts organizations across the country are choosing to revive popular plays and musicals, Artistic Director David Saint has instead renewed the theatre's commitment to producing new work. The 2009-10 George Street Playhouse season will feature no less than four new works and one play, still to be announced.

The third offering on Vassar & New York Stage and Film's Powerhouse Theater Mainstage this season will be Keith Bunin's funny, sexy, romantic, and moving story Vera Laughed, about a great writer living in exile - with his wife and his mistress. Vera Laughed will open on Wednesday, July 22, and run through Sunday, August 2, at the Powerhouse Theater on the Vassar College campus.
