Currently celebrating its 50th anniversary, a colorful, reimagined version of the classic Tony Award®-winning musical Fiddler on the Roof will hit the Theatre's stage December 2 - 21. Set in 1905 in the village of Anatevka in Tsarist, Russia, the story follows dairyman Tevye as he fights to maintain his family and heritage. Featuring timeless melodies and songs such as "Sunrise Sunset," "Matchmaker, Matchmaker" and "If I Were a Rich Man," this beloved musical will capture your heart.
On Monday, October 27, the Broadway at Birdland series was proud to present singer Trevor McQueen, who made his Birdland concert debut with a 17-piece big band. The concert featured Trevor's original tunes, and an epic salute to his musical inspiration, Sammy Davis, Jr. Musical direction and arrangements were by Angelo Di Loreto and Bryan Carter. It's one of the giddy pleasures of being an actor-dress up! And there are few periods that are quite as distinctive and fun as the 18th century. Thoroughly Modern Millie will run at the Millburn, New Jersey, theater from tonight, April 10 through May 5, 2013. The official press opening is Sunday, April 14, at 7:00pm.
