The Menier Chocolate Factory's sell out production of Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's A Little Night Music is to transfer to the West End for a strictly limited run. Trevor Nunn's critically acclaimed production will transfer to the Garrick Theatre from 28 March, with press night on Tuesday 7 April and is booking until 25 July 2009. A Little Night Music is produced in the West End by David Babani for Chocolate Factory Productions, Andrew Fell and Nica Burns and Max Weitzenhoffer for Nimax Theatres.

According to Variety UK stage star Hannah Waddingham, who has played the Lady of the Lake in 'Monty Python's Spamalot' in London and most recently on Broadway, will play Desiree in Trevor Nunn's upcoming Menier Chocolate Factory revival of 'A Little Night Music.' The production plays Nov. 22 to Mar. 8 with a Dec. 3 opening.
Avenue Q schedules a 'Midnight Matinee'

The London production of Avenue Q at the Noël Coward Theatre (formely the Albery Theatre) has scheduled a 'Midnight Matinee' for Monday 22nd January 2007. The performance will be a special event to raise funds for TheatreCares, the proceeds of which will be invaluable to people affected by HIV and AIDS. Beginning at 11:30pm, long after all of the other West End theatres have locked up for the night, the performance will run through midnight into the early hours of Tuesday morning.
