Not in the least hard to fathom that the Dreamgirls' 35th anniversary concert presented under the auspices of Chris Isaacson Presents Broadway Under the Stars was a sellout. With Sheryl Lee Ralph, Loretta Devine and Jennifer Holliday all headlining, who would not want to be there to marvel at the ageless talent of these amazing Broadway superstars? Directed by Iona Morris, choreographed by Lee Martino and musically directed by Kenneth Crouch, the evening also featured a bevy of other singing and dancing talents such as Frenchie Davis, Matt Zarley and a special fun appearance by Mary Wilson.
Perez Hilton has been set to host Broadway Under the Stars - Celebrating the 35th Anniversary of 'Dreamgirls' - on Sunday, July 10 at 8pm at the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre.

Singer/Actress Frenchie Davis brings her brash wit and iconic vocal style to The Copa in Palm Springs for two intimate performances, January 16 and 17 at 8:00 pm. Davis auditioned for the second season of the groundbreaking FOX show "American Idol" and her tremendous success on the show launched a career that has taken her to Broadway (Rent, Dreamgirls and eventually becoming a Grammy-nominated artist for the revival of Ain't Misbehavin') and, perhaps, her highest profile gig as one of the top four finalists in the first season of The Voice. Chris Isaacson Presents and the Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City have announced NEW YEAR'S EVE 2016: A POP ROCKIN' CELEBRATION with special guest pop icon Belinda Carlisle and also starring Frenchie Davis, Rogelio Douglas Jr., David Hernandez, Maya, and Jake Simpson, performing hits from the 80s to today as well as fresh arrangements of favorites from the Great American Songbook and classic rhythm and blues. On Monday, June 22, 2015, over 25 company members (Broadway, National, International, Asian World Tour, Regional) of the multiple Tony-award winning musical RENT helped celebrate LGBT pride with a special tribute to Jonathan Larson's contributions to the theater and LGBT communities. Broadway favorite Frenchie Davis (American Idol, The Voice, Broadway's RENT) will make her Broadway Sings for Pride debut in 'ROAR' which will celebrate NYC Gay Pride. Frenchie known for her powerful voice will be apart of group numbers and a solo piece during the event. Frenchie appeared on American Idol's second season where she showcased her soulful voice. She made her Broadway debut in RENT as the 'Seasons of Love' soloist in the Tony-award winning show RENT. She was also seen in the starring role of Effie in a West Coast-touring production of Dreamgirls, which appeared in Sacramento, San Jose, Seattle. Davis also made it to the top 8 of The Voice as a member of Christina Aguilera's team.
