On Sun, July 10, 2016, Chris Isaacson Presents the 4th annual Broadway Under the Stars celebrating the 35th Anniversary of the Tony Award-winning musical, Dreamgirls --- a complete sellout at the newly remodeled Ford Theatres in Hollywood, CA. 

Not in the least hard to fathom that the Dreamgirls' 35th anniversary concert presented under the auspices of Chris Isaacson Presents Broadway Under the Stars was a sellout. With Sheryl Lee Ralph, Loretta Devine and Jennifer Holliday all headlining, who would not want to be there to marvel at the ageless talent of these amazing Broadway superstars? Directed by Iona Morris, choreographed by Lee Martino and musically directed by Kenneth Crouch, the evening also featured a bevy of other singing and dancing talents such as Frenchie Davis, Matt Zarley and a special fun appearance by Mary Wilson.

Perez Hilton has been set to host Broadway Under the Stars - Celebrating the 35th Anniversary of 'Dreamgirls' - on Sunday, July 10 at 8pm at the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre.

Frenchie Davis (Rent, American Idol), Gideon Glick (Spider Man, Spring Awakening), Robin de Jesus (Two-time Tony nom. La Cage Aux Folles & In the Heights), Jay Armstrong Johnson (On the Town, Hands on a Hardbody) Ben Mayne (South Pacific tour), Doreen Montalvo (On Your Feet, In the Heights), MJ Rodriguez (Runaways, Rent), Tony Sheldon (Tony nom. Priscilla, Queen of the Desert), Jason Tam (If/Then, A Chorus Line), Clarke Thorell (The Front Page, Annie) and more are set to perform a concert version of Max Vernon's musical THE VIEW UPSTAIRS to raise money for the victims of the Pulse Orlando massacre. It will be directed by Scott Ebersold with Music Director James Dobinson.

Broadway and Symphony Pop Siren N'Kenge joins the All Star Lineup of Performers for this year's PRIDEFEST! Singing Broadway and Pop Hits from 3:00-3:30PM, N'Kenge is thrilled to be included in the celebration of LGBT Pride! The Stage is located on Hudson Street between 13th Street and 14th Street. N'Kenge was recently seen performing last week with BeBe Neuwirth, Henry Krieger, Frenchie Davis and more in the Broadway Sings For Pride Ovation Gala held at the JCC Manhattan to a sold out show.

The co-hosts of the Daytime Emmy(R) Award-nominated THE REAL- Adrienne Bailon, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley - will take on New Orleans this summer, traveling to Louisiana to bring a live version of their hit daytime talk show to the 2016 ESSENCE Festival(

Sunday's Backstage at the Geffen, star-studded fundraiser at the Geffen Playhouse and the pre-show host committee dinner grossed over $1.4 million for the Geffen Playhouse's education, outreach and artistic initiatives.  Norman Lear presented the Distinction in Service Award to social entrepreneur Jeff Skoll.  Walt Disney Studios Chairman Alan Horn presented the Distinction in Theater Award to Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman.

The workshop of award-winning composer/lyricist/playwright/performer Max Vernon's new musical THE VIEW UPSTAIRS, directed by Scott Ebersold and with choreography by Spencer Liff and music direction by Matt Aument, will hold their industry presentations this week, starting today, March 31st, and continuing tomorrow, Friday, April 1st, in New York City.

No fooling, Syfy's latest genre-bending original movie, DEAD 7 – a boy band zombie Western – will premiere on Friday, April 1 at 8PM ET/PT.

The workshop of award-winning composer/lyricist/playwright/performer Max Vernon's new musical THE VIEW UPSTAIRS, directed by Scott Ebersold and with choreography by Spencer Liff and music direction by Matt Aument, began rehearsals last week in New York City and will culminate in three industry presentations on March 31st and April 1st. Chris Isaacson Presents has announced a full slate of spring entertainment, beginning with acclaimed British actor/singer Richard Shelton, followed by Grammy Award-winner and Zoolander 2 star Nathan Lee Graham, Grammy Award-winner and Motown legend Thelma Houston, Tony Award-nominated actress/singer Liz Callaway, and the inimitable song stylist Frenchie Davis. 

Singer/Actress Frenchie Davis brings her brash wit and iconic vocal style to The Copa in Palm Springs for two intimate performances, January 16 and 17 at 8:00 pm. Davis auditioned for the second season of the groundbreaking FOX show "American Idol" and her tremendous success on the show launched a career that has taken her to Broadway (Rent, Dreamgirls and eventually becoming a Grammy-nominated artist for the revival of Ain't Misbehavin') and, perhaps, her highest profile gig as one of the top four finalists in the first season of The Voice. Her cover of 'When Love Takes Over' landed at #3 on the iTunes Dance Chart. I had the chance to chat with French as she was preparing for her Palm Springs engagement. Chris Isaacson Presents and the Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City have announced NEW YEAR'S EVE 2016: A POP ROCKIN' CELEBRATION with special guest pop icon Belinda Carlisle and also starring Frenchie Davis, Rogelio Douglas Jr., David Hernandez, Maya, and Jake Simpson, performing hits from the 80s to today as well as fresh arrangements of favorites from the Great American Songbook and classic rhythm and blues. The festivities will begin at 7pm in the Hilton's elegant Sierra Ballroom.

On Monday, June 22, 2015, over 25 company members (Broadway, National, International, Asian World Tour, Regional) of the multiple Tony-award winning musical RENT helped celebrate LGBT pride with a special tribute to Jonathan Larson's contributions to the theater and LGBT communities. On hand were special guest speakers and original RENT creative team members Marlies Yearby (Tony nominee, original RENT choreographer) and Billy Aronson (original RENT collaborator). Broadway Sings for Pride will roar into their 5th year and celebrate New York City LGBT Pride with 'Roar', their fifth annual benefit concert, benefiting the Tyler Clementi Foundation. The one-night benefit, will feature songs that embody gay perseverance, marked by an array of musical performers from the world of Broadway, pop and beyond. The night will feature two special musical reunions from the companies of RENT and A Chorus Line.

Broadway favorite Frenchie Davis (American Idol, The Voice, Broadway's RENT) will make her Broadway Sings for Pride debut in 'ROAR' which will celebrate NYC Gay Pride. Frenchie known for her powerful voice will be apart of group numbers and a solo piece during the event. Frenchie appeared on American Idol's second season where she showcased her soulful voice. She made her Broadway debut in RENT as the 'Seasons of Love' soloist in the Tony-award winning show RENT. She was also seen in the starring role of Effie in a West Coast-touring production of Dreamgirls, which appeared in Sacramento, San Jose, Seattle. Davis also made it to the top 8 of The Voice as a member of Christina Aguilera's team.
