One Night of Queen enacted by Gary Mullen and The Works will be performing live at bergenPAC on Friday, April 13th at 8P.M.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced an additional presenter and some artists who will perform at the 2012 inductions. The 27th Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place Saturday, April 14 in Cleveland and debut Saturday, May 5 (9:00-11:30 p.m. ET/PT) on HBO. In addition, HBO Signature will present a 24-hour marathon of the HBO special, beginning at midnight that same day, and concluding Sunday, May 6 at midnight.

Billboard reports that Adam Lambert, who is best known for competing on the TV series American Idol, will play four concerts with rock band Queen this summer.

The Scooty & JoJo Show returns to Metro on June 1, 2012, with the benefit concert Space Invasion. Expanding last year's Alien-meets-Queen-meets-Battlestar Fantastica spectacles with Chicago's newest choir and an inter-species dance party, Space Invasion is a celebration of sci-fi cinema and space rock. Proceeds from the event go toward The Scooty & JoJo GoGo Legit Campaign, securing legal council and licensing rights for Scooty & JoJo creations.

The Arvada Center will open the regional premiere of a new restaging of Chess, A Musical directed by Rod A. Lansberry on March 27 running through April 15, 2012 in the Main Stage Theater. Performances are Tuesday - Saturday at 7:30 pm, Wednesday at 1pm, Saturday and Sunday at 2pm. Preview performances are March 23 - 25. Moderated talkbacks with the cast are offered on Friday, April 6 after 7:30 p.m. show and Wednesday, April 11 after 1:00 p.m. show. Ticket prices range from $35 (previews) - $72. Broadway is shining the spotlight on the importance of musical theater programs in schools by endorsing Musicals in our Schools Week happening March 19-23, 2012. Through Musicals in our Schools Week afterschool programs, children's theaters, schools, community theaters, performing arts centers and professional theaters will advocate for educational musical theater locally, nationally and globally. The program will be held annually in the third full week of March in honor of both Stephen Sondheim's and Andrew Lloyd Webber's birthdays (March 22). The Barnyard Theatre has announced that its Rivonia venue is now open for bookings for its first show. This new 500-seater theatre will open its doors to the public on 20 March 2012 for SIX OF THE BEST, a tribute to Freddie Mercury, Bon Jovi, Meat Loaf, Billy Joel, Cher & Pink which then runs until 29 April.

Act II Playhouse concludes its 2011/12 season with the classic Broadway musical My Fair Lady, directed and reimagined for the theatre's intimate venue and a small ensemble cast by Producing Artistic Director Bud Martin. The classic musical begins April 24 and runs through May 20.
