Theatrical licensor Music Theatre International (MTI) has secured worldwide licensing rights to Off-Broadway's DADDY LONG LEGS by Tony Award -nominated composer-lyricist Paul Gordon (JANE EYRE) and Tony-winning librettist-director John Caird (LES MISERABLES). The new two-actor musical is an adaptation of Jean Webster's 1912 novel, which also inspired the 1955 movie starring Fred Astaire.

Adam Halpin (Broadway's GLORY DAYS, RENT Natl. Tour) has just joined the cast of the new musical Daddy Long Legs, alongside his wife Megan McGinnis (Broadway's LES MISERABLES, SIDE SHOW, LITTLE WOMEN). Halpin, recently seen in another two-person musical THE LAST FIVE YEARS at Long Wharf Theatre, assumed the role on November 20th. The couple will appear together onstage through February 2016.

The Ziegfeld Society will present cabaret legend Steve Ross in his acclaimed show STEVE ROSS ON BROADWAY, with special guest star Carole Demas, tonight, November 21st, 2015. The event will take place at Lang Recital Hall, Hunter College (68th Street between Park and Lexington Avenue).

Starting tonight, November 20, Adam Halpin (Broadway's GLORY DAYS, RENT Natl. PRE-SHOW is a new cabaret aiming to target theatregoers before they arrive at their actual theatres for the night. 

Attending a Steve Ross show is often akin to time travel. The audience is transported back to eras when urbanity and dash were watchwords, when interpretation meant being as true to the period as the meaning of lyrics. The classy Mr. Ross, known primarily for iconoclastic solo performance, appeared at Birdland Monday night with a zealous 11-piece band helmed by long time confederate Brian Cassier. The joint was jumpin'.

Andrea Marcovicci -- the singer and actress hailed as 'torch singer, spellbinder, heart-breaker' by People -- will debut at 54 Below this month for a two-night Birthday Celebration tonight, November 18 at 7:00 PM and tomorrow, November 19 at 9:30 PM.
