In a one-of-a-kind concert created especially for Valley Performing Arts Center (VPAC), the world's most seasoned Gershwin interpreter, Peter Nero, will perform Gershwin's timeless works from Broadway and film on Saturday, November 14 at 8pm. This two-part program will be a special evening dedicated to the work Gershwin composed in Los Angeles after relocating from New York. 

'In just a brief minute, I will forget. I will be forgotten.' Inspired by true events, the show is an unconventional storytelling told by 1940's Hollywood's pin-up Rita Hayworth, as she is struggling with early onset Alzheimer's, and searching for a true identity.

On Sunday afternoon, we journeyed into the Valley to see the Ventura County resident play the part of Molly, pretty much your typical 14-year-old teenaged girl, in a one-girl musical called Welcome to My World, which played at the Grove Theater Center in Burbank.

Since puberty, Robert Patrick has created songs for the movies and movie stars he most admired. Now at last he presents them in a concert evening in which he pays vocal tribute -- with an occasional edge of satire -- to Betty Grable, Bing Crosby, Eartha Kitt, Frank Sinatra, Marlene Dietrich, Harvey Fierstein, Carmen Miranda, Fred Astaire, Judy Garland, Johnny Cash, and Audrey Hepburn among others.

The new Off-Broadway musical DADDY LONG LEGS will record a cast album to be released by Ghostlight Records. DADDY LONG LEGS, which features music and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Paul Gordon (Sense and Sensibility), book by Tony Award and Olivier Award winner John Caird (Les Miserables), and direction by John Caird began previews on September 10, 2015, and will officially open September 28, 2015 at the Davenport Theatre (354 West 45th Street). Due to popular demand, DADDY LONG LEGS was recently extended to an open-ended run.

In this unique, live one-woman show, described as 'mesmerizing' and 'a real treat' by Variety, Patricia Ward Kelly - Gene Kelly's wife and biographer - gives us his story. Taking the Harris Center audience behind the scenes, she presents an intimate portrait of this innovative artist who gave us such iconic works as An American in Paris and Singin' in the Rain.
