The Time Out New York Lounge, in association with New World Stages and 21st Century Life, moved on to Week Four of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DRAG ! This sassy elimination competition on Wednesday nights features themed performances, ruthlessly scrutinized by a rotating panel of celebrity judges, at the Time Out New York Lounge at New World Stages, 340 West 50th Street (between Eighth & Ninth Avenues). This week's judges were fabulous Charles Busch and the extraordinary cast of The Divine Sister, now playing Off-Broadway at the Soho Playhouse.

ELLING Visits NY1 'On Stage', 11/13-14

Tune in to NY-1 'On Stage this weekend to catch interviews with the cast of Broadway's new comedy ELLING, starring Brendan Fraser, Denis O'Hare, Jennifer Coolidge, Richard Easton and Jeremy Shamos, this weekend. ELLING is now playing at the at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street). Directed by Tony Award-winner Doug Hughes, ELLING opens on Sunday, November 21 and will play a strictly limited engagement through March 20, 2011. NY-1's 'On Stage' segment airs Saturday, November 13 and Sunday, November 14 at 9:30AM and 7:30PM, and Monday, November 15 at 9:30PM and 12:30am.

The performance is part of the larger United Solo Theatre Festival presenting the works of 47 solo artists running November 8th through November 11th at Theatre Row. The Un-Common Theatre Company and The Orpheum at Foxboro are pleased to present 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat ', a fun and lively adaptation of the Broadway classic. This international audience hit plays weekends at the Orpheum Theatre, Foxboro, December 3rd - 12th. This is the third collaboration for the Orpheum and Un-Common.

Sydney Theatre Company Holds OPEN DAY AT THE WHARF, 12/5

On Sunday 5 December 2010, Sydney's arts precinct throws open all its doors, inviting visitors to explore the many arts companies located at Pier 4/5 ('The Wharf') in Walsh Bay. Resident companies Sydney Theatre Company, Bangarra Dance Theatre, Sydney Dance Company, Australian Theatre for Young People, Sydney Philharmonia Choirs, Regional Arts NSW, Accessible Arts, The Song Company, Gondwana Choirs and Sydney Children's Choir are all taking part. In addition Sydney Writers' Festival and Biennale of Sydney, who regularly present work in the area, will participate. Bell Shakespeare, who will make their home in neighbouring Pier 2/3, will also play a part. On offer will be opportunities to explore the work of each Company, to visit rarely seen behind-the-scenes spaces, participate in workshops, attend forums, take special tours and enjoy diverse performances of drama, music and dance.

PITMAN PAINTERS, BRIEF ENCOUNTER Featured on Theatre Talk, 11/5

On Friday, November 5, 'Theater Talk' will feature an interview with THE PITMEN PAINTERS playwright Lee Hall and actor Deka Walmsley. THE PITMEN PAINTERS is currently playing at Manhattan Theatre Club's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. Also, Jerry Carlson, host of City Cinematheque, discusses BRIEF ENCOUNTER, the classic 1945 David Lean movie which inspired the Kneehigh Theatre's production of BRIEF ENCOUNTER being presented by Roundabout Theatre Company. 'Theater Talk' will air this Friday, November 5, at 12:30AM (Saturday Morning) on WNET-TV (Channel 13).
