On Monday, November 16, 2009 two hundred and fifty people gathered at the Edison Ballroom to celebrate the 31 years of Arts Horizons. The evening was hosted by Lauren Glassberg of WABC-TV. Founded in 1978, by John Devol, Arts Horizons has presented programs to over seven million students, teachers and community members. Professional, dedicated teaching artists from Broadway, Lincoln Center and all over the world motivate young people through the arts to attain new heights of learning. The programs serve all populations PreK-12, with a special emphasis on at-risk students and those with special needs.
Joe Traina to Perform at Iridium Jazz Club 12/9

Joe Traina, who currently manages the Cort Theatre on Broadway will team up with nine other musicians to present and evening of music at the Iridium Jazz Club. They will play the venue on December 9th at 8:30 and 10:30 PM. The sets will feature music from Traina's upcoming CD 'Ten by Ten' and arrangements composed by Grammy nominated Pete McGuinness.
