This coming season, AMERICAN SCOREBOARD, a series of actor-performed, verbatim readings of actual U.S. Congressional hearing transcripts, will once again join forces with HB STUDIO to perform four readings featuring HB students and alumni. The series will kick-off on Monday, September 16 at 7pm at the HB Playwrights Theatre (124 Bank Street) with a performance of testimony given on March 6, 2019 before the U.S. House Judiciary Committee on Protecting Dreamers and TPS (Temporary Protected Status) recipients. Broadway producers and creators of American Scoreboard, an ongoing produced series that follows the Trump administration with selected verbatim readings of U.S. Senate and Congressional transcripts, Fran Kirmser and Christopher Burney, have teamed up with Detroit Public Theatre to bring the series to Detroit March 2 and 3 at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (MOCAD).

Former New York Yankee Willie Randolph attended this Saturday evening's performance of Bronx Bombers. Randolph, who was the second baseman for the New York Yankees from 1976 - 1988, and served as team captain from 1986 - 1988, embraced the cast after the show, exclaiming 'I love this show, these are my guys!'
