Tony-Winner Andrea Martin to Pen Memoir

Two-time Tony Award winner Andrea Martin is a busy actress these days. The funnylady not only has two Broadway plays coming up, but will now take on the role of author in an upcoming memoir to be titled 'Andrea Martin's Lady Parts'.

Lincoln Center Theater will soon present Act One, a play written and directed by James Lapine from the autobiography by Moss Hart. The production is scheduled to begin previews Thursday, March 20 and open on Thursday, April 17 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street). The play will feature Bill Army, Will Brill, Laurel Casillo, Chuck Cooper, Steven Kaplan, Will LeBow, Mimi Lieber, Charlotte Maier, Andrea Martin, Deborah Offner, Matthew Saldivar, Matthew Schechter, Bob Stillman,Amy Warren, Santino Fontana and Tony Shalhoub. Coming off FROZEN's Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song wins, as well as Idina Menzel's performance at the Oscars last night, BWW couldn't resist bringing you a little bit more from the big screen hit. Last month, the stars of Disney's FROZEN got together at the Vibrato Grill Jazz Club in Los Angeles to perform songs from the movie. VIDEO: Idina Menzel Performs FROZEN's 'Let It Go' at the Oscars

Tony winner Idina Menzel sang the Best Original Song winner 'Let It Go' from this year's Best Animated Film FROZEN at the Academy Awards. Disney's newest movie musical, which has earned more than $1 billion worldwide, in addition to Menzel, features Broadway vets Kristen Bell, John Gad, and Santino Fontana. The beloved songs were written by the youngest EGOT winner Robert Lopez and his wife Kristen Anderson-Lopez.

On the eve of Valentine's Day, Kara Lindsay, currently starring in Disney's 'Newsies' on Broadway, was joined on-stage by her husband Kevin Massey (Memphis), her college best friend Kirsten Scott (Big Fish), Santino Fontana ('Frozen'), his girlfriend Jessica Hershberg (Cinderella), Drew Gehling (Jersey Boys), his wife Sara Jean Ford (The Phantom of the Opera), Patrick Cummings (Happiness), his girlfriend, Alessa Neeck (Cinderella), Thea Brooks (Dirty Dancing), and musical director Benjamin Rauhala (Hit List) in a celebration of Broadway romance, both on and off-stage. The evening will also feature bluegrass trio 'Shubert Alley,' featuring Kevin Massey, his brother Patrick Massey, and Jamison Scott (Spider-Man). Also featured in the concert were Aaron Albano (Newsies), Stephen Joshua Thompson, Antwayn Hopper (Hair), and Devin Ilaw (Les Miserables). They were accompanied by Rauhala on the keys, and Charlie Rosen (One Man, Two Guvnors), who will alternate on bass, acoustic guitar, and drums. Scroll down for photos!

THEATER TALK Sets Spring Season Preview for this Weekend
