Last night at New York City's Pierre Hotel, the National Corporate Theatre Fund (NCTF) honored Tony and Emmy Award Winning singer and actress Kristin Chenoweth, and the Edgerton Foundation for their leadership in the arts at the NCTF 2014 Chairman's Awards Gala. The evening included a special performance by Tony Award Winner Jefferson Mays and Bryce Pinkham, stars of the current hit musical A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder; an excerpt from the highly acclaimed show Witness Uganda, currently at A.R.T. (an NCTF member theatre); and an appearance by legendary comedian Lily Tomlin, currently on tour with a solo show.

In the aftermath of director Adam Cross's (Hunter Foster) online gaff about newly appointed artistic director Theresa Amesworth (Harriet Harris), Penny Reilly (Kate Wetherhead) and the 'Jeremy's Fort' team are left uncertain about the show's future. Serena Maxwell (Donna Vivino) is anxious about a recent announcement from Aaron Miller (Santino Fontana), while Penny knows more about it than she can let on. Meanwhile, Tim Trull (Colin Hanlon) receives a strange delivery from Nolan Grigsby (Wade McCollum), and his assistant Gail (Lindsay Nicole Chambers) must rise to an unexpected occasion.
The New York Philharmonic will return to Bravo! Vail in Colorado for the Orchestra's 12th- annual summer residency there, performing six concerts July 18-25, 2014. Music Director Alan Gilbert will conduct three programs, July 18-20, featuring works by composers for whom he has advocated during his tenure, ranging from Nielsen to The Marie-Jose?e Kravis Composer-in- Residence Christopher Rouse. The other Philharmonic concerts will be conducted by Bramwell Tovey (July 23 and 25) and Ted Sperling (July 24), and will feature works by Copland, Gershwin, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, and Loesser, among others.
