Village Originals has announced the official selections for the 10th Annual Festival of New Musicals taking place August 12-15, 2010 at the Francis J. Gaudette Theatre in Issaquah. This is an invitation only event, not open to the public. The Annual Festival of New Musicals has become a jumping off point for a number of Village Theatre's most popular new works. Leading writers and producers from across the world come together for this invite-only event to be part of the process of developing new musicals. Since 2001, the Village Originals Festival has developed over 50 new musicals and worked with over 100 authors.

Proudly presented by iShares® OVO opens July 22nd for a limited engagement under the trademark blue-and-yellow Grand Chapiteau (Big Top), located at the Fan Pier & Pier 4, on Boston's New Waterfront.

Cirque du Soleil will return to New York with its latest big top touring production OVO beginning performances Friday, April 9, 2010.

The first visible sign of the arrival of Cirque du Soleil and its latest live production OVO, in the city of New York is the raising of its trademark blue-and-yellow Grand Chapiteau (Big Top) and the set up of the Cirque du Soleil Village. This event took place at the Randall's Island Park, Thursday, April 1 where a team of 60-plus men and women hoisted more than 100 steel poles from the ground up.

Cirque du Soleil will end performances of OVO in San Jose on March 21st.

March 9, 2010 was my first night at the hallowed halls of the Carlyle. And it was one of the most amazing nights of my life, ever.
